Re: Best mini-CPAP machine for Bleep mask

Thank you! I'll check out an adaptor for the ResMed mini. Hope that it has good humidity levels possible, too. Best.

Re: Best mini-CPAP machine for Bleep mask

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I am not very good - not good at all, actually - with any mask that requires headgear... I really would like to find a mini-CPAP that's compatible with my Bleep masks. Best.

Best mini-CPAP machine for Bleep mask

Good day! I will finally start traveling internationally again and would like some help with choosing the best mini-CPAP machine for use with my Bleep masks. I currently use a ResMed Airsense 10, but it's a pretty hefty one to carry around on planes. If I have to, so be it. Anyhow, any suggestions f...

Thanks, everyone! I'll unplug my battery and hope that I have enough forewarning about power outages.

leaving Medistrom battery plugged in to my CPAP machine

Good morning! I bought a Medistrom battery for my CPAP machine during the summer - just in time for electricity to go out due to a thunderstorm and then Dorian. I was grateful for the battery, that's for sure! I leave my machine plugged in all the time (unless I need to take it when I travel) and am...

Re: Choosing a Battery

Since I'm in the Maritimes for a few months - where power outages are not unusual - I decided to buy a battery for my Resmed Airsense10. I ended up with a Midestrom. It's light weight (under 3 lbs) and easy to use. Well, Dorian hit here on Saturday, so I had to put the battery to use! It worked beau...

Re: Ready to throw away CPAP!!!

Thanks to suggestions on this site, I switched to the Bleep mask - and it has been a game changer for me. I, too, breathe through my mouth at night, so use medical tape to close my mouth. My be worth thinking about. Best.

Re: Thank you, Pugsy, for Bleep mask review!

Thanks, Jas-williams, for the venting info. I'll definitely try it tonight. Regarding Bleep and insurance, I called my DME an hour ago and made a "formal" request for them to carry Bleep masks. The rep talked with the buyer who told him that he'd see about asking for a few kits - or to see if people...

Re: Thank you, Pugsy, for Bleep mask review!

Have just finished my first full night with the Bleep. I love not having head gear - no jabbing/gouging in my face to awaken me, no puffy under eyes, no mask marks in my face in the morning! I had no problem putting on the nasal portals and tape, nor attaching the hose. However, I did have to try th...

Re: Choosing a Battery

CapnLoki, Thank you for your reply! I like your suggestion for a Medistrom Pilot-24 since I can plug it directly into my Resmed. I will check it out asap. Best.

Re: Choosing a Battery

Hamguy515,
Thank you. I'll check out the 2nd battery you listed, although I'd still love to find one that's a wee bit lighter. Is it okay for use on a plane? Best.

Re: capnloki - I hear that you're the battery expert!

Hopeful50, Thank you! I checked it out online, but it can't be used on planes. I'll be doing some very long distance flying next year, so will want to be able to use a battery. I really appreciate that you took the time to post, however. Best.

Re: Choosing a Battery

Hello! I want a battery that weighs less than 5 lbs and is as small as possible. When I travel, I would prefer not to be carrying a heavy battery around. I am looking for a battery for my Resmed 10 airsense for when there are power outages (due, mainly, to thunder storms where I travel in the summer...
