Re: Self adhesive medical wrap tape
The only thing I would worry about for mouth taping is that if you need to get it off quickly because you vomit or your nose is plugged up it might be resistant if you pull it fast or hard. When it bunches up it acts like iron. I would suggest making a small little slit just in case of an emergency...

Re: Self adhesive medical wrap tape
Vetwrap: quite versatile. The smell is a bit irritating to me, but YMMV. Expensive at the pharmacy--cheap at the farm store. Keep away from the ends of your hose--the adhesive reacts with rubber/vinyl, whatever it is. It also attracts dirt-so must be discarded before it gets really gross....

Self adhesive medical wrap tape
I've been using a piece of self adhesive wrap (the kind a vet might use to wrap a dog's leg etc) to keep my mouth shut at night. It stretches nicely, lightly adheres to my skin and my mask keeps it in place. It kind of has a smell at first, because it's made of some kind of non slip material... prob...

Re: Flow Limits mid Clear Airway Events?
It's the shape that earns the FL distinction. The flattened part at the top of the inhale. It's a very subtle change and takes a practiced eye to notice the subtle differences. Forgive me, because I easily get all of this turned around in my head. Just when I think I understand something, I learn s...

Re: Flow Limits mid Clear Airway Events?
Pugsy, any thoughts on that picture I posted? It might just be a no effort to breath with an obstruction. I might be a person who is having post arousal centrals due to inadequate pressure. I raised my pressure last night and only had 4 centrals (one with a flow limit in the middle part of it on the...

Re: Flow Limits mid Clear Airway Events?
Here ya go Pugsy...hope it works and looks ok. As far as a double breath goes, I might be doing that. My centrals and obstructions never really look flat, and it always confused me, but once I learned about FOT, I attributed the waviness and fluctuations mid-event as the machine measuring airway pat...

Re: Flow Limits mid Clear Airway Events?
Yep, that's what I'm seeing. It's the same in Rescan too. Flow limit(s) of varying degrees during FOT determined clear airway. Maybe, like you said, the flow limit isn't big enough or long enough, or occurring at a point to upset the running average to override the OA vs CA FOT formula determination...

Hi there, This is my first time reaching out for help. I have been reading here for several months and have learned SO much. I so appreciate the contributions of new and seasoned posters alike. I have been looking at my data and have noticed flow limitations in the middle of several of what my machi...

Looking to borrow a cord
Hi there, I'm looking to borrow a "travel" cord (ie DC-DC cord) for either of my machines - Respironics System One 60 or Resmed Autosense S10. I live in the East Bay (east of San Francisco) and would only need it for a two night camping trip. I know it's kind of crazy to come on her and ask for some...
