Re: Battery Advice
I bought a brand called "Poweradd" from Amazon last fall for my 7-day camping/bike ride. It served me very well. 100% charge on the battery lasts me 2 nights of sleep (8 hrs each night) with climate controls and humidifier turned off on the Resmed Airsense Autoset 10. It also took about 6 hrs to cha...

Re: Getting humidity right
https://www.resmed.com/us/en/consumer/support/humidifiers/preventing-humidification-rainout-condensation.html Oh yeah I didn't mention my tube is also wrapped. I guess I could try to turn up the temp? I think it was 81 before but I saw somewhere it is recommended to be between 78-82, so I don't hav...

Re: My experience with Kaiser Permanente
Surprised to hear a borderline good story about Kaiser. All I have noticed first hand are a bunch of incompetent doctors and lab technicians as far as general care is concerned.

Re: Travel advice - airlines.
I never had any issues travelling internationally with my CPAP. I travelled to S. Korea twice on Korean and Spain on Norwegian from the states. I usually call them a couple of days in advance and notify them about the machine and after that no issues whatsoever. I even used my CPAP on Norwegian with...

Nice work, Bond! I do love success stories, and yours is worth reading by anyone looking for xpap therapy encouragement. BTW, a little over a year following my beginning xpap therapy, I was able to run my first half-marathon ( at age 52). And, a related question. Which route did you take on your ei...

Rode my bicycle 541 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Take that Sleep Apnea. I win.
Hi all, As some of you know, I've been on CPAP since July 13th. Prior to CPAP I always felt like crap after a 50 miles ride. I was diagnosed in time and 2.5 months was enough for my body to recover from all the beating it took from lack of sleep. I finally rode my bicycle for a total of 541 miles fr...

How to know when to change the mask and other accessories.
I am 2 months into my CPAP therapy and so far very happy. The question I have is how would I know when to change the mask. The usual recommendation of 3 months seems wasteful. Any tips? Do I pay attention to leaks? Fit and comfort? How would I know?

Re: Tips to lower AHI? Sleepyhead screenshot.
Disclaimer: This comment may not help you with your AHI. It looks like your EPR is turned on full time but it is set at 0. It is a comfort feature that lets you exhale (close to) normally. Have tried it and turned it off? If you turn it back on, then add that much amount of pressure to your both min...
