I'll be meeting with a pulmonologist soonish. Previously I was simply referred out to a sleep lab, but this time I'll be meeting with a pulmonologist within the system.
I will be curious to see what they have to say if I show them these charts.

Also:
It sort of looks like my leak rate is higher than it used to be with the new mask. Is this something to be concerned about? Or is the leak rate still too low to have much of a noticeable impact?

Re: Blues, Woes, and Worries of a New APAP User
I see that you and I have the same machine and mask, actually.
So, then...
Was it my mask the whole time, do you think? My results improved and I don't seem to have to use higher pressures after using my new mask.

Re: Blues, Woes, and Worries of a New APAP User
So how did you sleep? How do you feel? Any problems comfort wise when using 4 cm? Do you like the new mask? I'm still adjusting so my sleep isn't completely uninterrupted yet. Still feel a little tired, but I can identify that I'm getting better. No comfort problems, but I see that I can probably s...

Re: Blues, Woes, and Worries of a New APAP User
Thought I'd give an update. So I swapped out my F&P Eson mask with a ResMed AirFit P10, changing from a nasal mask to a pillow mask. I decided to return to my prescribed pressure just to see if the pillow mask made a difference. This is the result of my third day on the new mask. screenshot-20180615...

ResMed AirSense Autoset 10 - 'Warming' mode for the humidifier
How long does it take for the pre-use warming mode to warm up? Is it safe to leave for long periods of time (two to three hours) or will all your water be pretty much evaporated by that time?

Re: Blues, Woes, and Worries of a New APAP User
I did see CA episodes when you raised the max to 12. However, that was only one night, so I can't say it's representative. There were CA episodes last night as well according to my most recent chart. I don't know if it's representative of needing to get used to the new pressure or not, but it does ...

Re: Blues, Woes, and Worries of a New APAP User
Hopefully last night was an anomaly. I'd hate to think each night will be that difficult.

Re: Blues, Woes, and Worries of a New APAP User
Did you have any problems going to sleep? Were you able to go back to sleep without much difficulty? Getting to sleep initially, I don't think so. My Runtastic Sleep Better App suggests that it took me about fifteen minutes to fall asleep. Returning to sleep, however, was difficult. I'm not sure wh...

Re: Blues, Woes, and Worries of a New APAP User
If I raise the pressure, do I then have to wear my mask much tighter? Or is it okay to wear it at the same tightness that I have been?

Re: Blues, Woes, and Worries of a New APAP User
I suppose there's no harm in at least trying for a brief period. The most potential harm you can get from a cpap is if you drop it on your foot. CPAP is one of the least possible harmful side effect medical things there is. The people in this thread that have offered you suggestions care about one ...

The last two posters have not only been here for years, not only profs in their own right otherwise, but are the most experienced and knowledgable ones here. People with far, far more complex and serious problems have been helped by them and your worries are simply baseless. Doctors are notorious f...

I'll try min-7 and max-15 for a couple of night and see what comes of it.
Is there anything else in my charts that seem odd to any of you? Or is it fairly normal for someone just starting?

Re: Blues, Woes, and Worries of a New APAP User
Is there any reason why I had a bunch of clear airway apneas when I tried to return to sleep this morning with higher settings?
