Re: AHI calculcation in SH vs CPAP and MyAir
According to notes on the Discord board, Mark is focused intently on a new version now, so bug reports may not be handled immediately. I'll wait for an update. SH is still the tool I like best for looking at what's happening. All software has bugs. Recently, I had two days with 11 hours sleep each (...

Re: AHI calculcation in SH vs CPAP and MyAir
Try creating a new user profile in SleepyHead and importing again. Yes, I did try that, importing both from the SD card and from FlashPap. With a new user, both imports worked (i.e., agreed with ResScan). So, what's wrong with SH that it intermittently doesn't get all the data (or whatever it is th...

Re: AHI calculcation in SH vs CPAP and MyAir
OK, so LL isn't the issue. Still, something very odd is going on with SH and ResScan/MyAir/CPAP not agreeing. I compared ResScan and SH. Both have the same reporting period of 9:26 hours. There are two sessions. Both programs agree about 3 events in the first session. ResScan reports a large number ...

AHI calculcation in SH vs CPAP and MyAir
I've noticed occasional discrepancies between the AHI displayed on the CPAP machine (and also reported in MyAir) vs Sleepyhead. Last night, SH reported AHI of 0.32 and the machine and MyAir reported 2.8. Looking at the numbers, it would appear that the machine includes the number of large leak event...

FREE for cost of shipping: Wisp Mask, F&P Flexifit407
Wisp mask is used, comes with an assortment of cushions from P to XL (but no S/M cushions).
FlexiFit407 in original box, history unknown.
Both from Pugsy originally. I am passing on ones that I have no further interest in (I got a new Wisp mask from my DME).
PM me if interested.

I sometimes use melatonin to help get to sleep. Otherwise, it takes me a long time to fall asleep.

Re: My Doctor is not happy...
When I went to pick up my CPAP machine, we went through the standard 1+ hour spiel in 10-15 minutes as I could tell him what he was going to say next. :D My wife has had a CPAP for 9 months, so I was pretty aware of all the details. When it came to clinical menu items, he said he "wasn't allowed" to...

Re: Frame size of F20 for her different?
I actually asked this VERY exact question to my sleep clinician and she told me that the frame/mask size is identical with the exception that the headgear is smaller and in a "feminine purple" colour. Great! Thank you both. I've ordered a larger headgear from Amazon to adapt my wife's spare Airtouc...

Re: Back sliding after 6 weeks
My thanks to everyone for your courteous and informative replies. I made the amateur mistake of confusing correlation with causation. I'm not feeling less well because of any CPAP issue -- I'm coming down sick with something. Maybe the CPAP machine was even buoying me up so that it wasn't immediatel...

Frame size of F20 for her different?
Is the size of the frame any different between the regular and "for her" models of the Resmed F20 mask? (I know the headgear is a different size,) If no different, then I should be able to swap out my wife's For Her headgear for a Large headgear and be able to use it myself, perhaps with a different...

Re: Back sliding after 6 weeks
Why is your sleep so fragmented? Why the multiple wake ups? Were there more than just these that we see where maybe you you woke up and didn't turn the machine off? Usually, there are two wake-ups during the night for bathroom runs. This particular night had an excessive number of wakeups because w...

Back sliding after 6 weeks
I've now been using CPAP since June 14 (with 100% compliance). At the beginning, I noticed I was feeling less tired throughout the day, and didn't need naps as much. More recently, though, I have begun feeling tired during the day again and need to take naps. The number of hours I am sleeping is abo...

Re: Mask pressure vs. pressure in SH
My SH displays the Pressure graph as two parallel traces - red for pressure and green for exhalation pressure (EPAP) separated by the EPR value And mine doesn't and I can't for the life of me figure out why. See image below. Displaying EPAP (green) and/or Pressure (red) in the Pressure graph is an ...
