If I go off these meds how long does it take to find out if it helps? I have no idea and it's really something you should discuss with your doctor. Why would they say my study was normal if I had no REM sleep? Beats me. You would have to ask the doctor. I am unsure what medications I was on at the time. So what about now? Just to add a bit more - A sleep study s a very unnatural sleep experience. It's very difficult to extrapolate from a night of wired up sleeping in a strange bed to normal sleep experiences. I am unsure what medications I was on at the time. Why would they say my study was normal if I had no REM sleep? So confused...been to the dr so many times and they never even look at these results
