Re: Advice for helping my son-in-law
My son-in-law (the father of my grandson and granddaughter) has all the symptoms I experienced with OSA before APAP. My daughter describes these symptoms as exactly the same as mine (very loud snoring and sudden awakenings gasping for breath). He will not go for a sleep test and cannot be convinced...

Re: Advice for helping my son-in-law
Pugsy, New Pug? My daughter has been a Pug rescuer. They sure grow on you. "So your daughter is in on the Pug rescue thing??? Is she current? I am on the lookout for another Pug. She is no longer active. She's now a full time teacher with 2 kids under seven. That and her current Pug keep her pretty...

Re: ResMed AirFit N30i nasal mask now available at cpap.com
I gave it a try but it is on the way back (thankful for return insurance). I have been using the Dream Wear nasal mask for the past few months with great success. I use the large headgear and a medium wide cushion. The AirFit N30i with its standard headgear is too small for me and the included cushi...

Re: ResMed new FFM the F30 available for pre order at cpap.com
Looking at our sponsor's website it seems that a sizing template comes with the F30. You don't get the template until you receive the FFM. How does that help to know the correct size when ordering?

Re: ResMed new FFM the F30 available for pre order at cpap.com
"The DreamWear FFM was what finally prompted me to get a hose buddy. The top-of-head hose connection meant that my hose would often rub against the headboard when I would turn over at night. The hose buddy solved that problem, but I would still rather have an under-the-nose connection with a quick ...

Re: Success with Dr. Dakota Collar Device
Well, I received the Dr. Dakota collar I ordered and tried it out. Unfortunately, it wasn't wide enough to keep my chin from dropping. And since the adjustment fasteners were very difficult to do with the arthritis in my hands, I don't think I'll bother ordering the larger size. I was hoping that i...

Move from FFM to Nasal Mask is working for me
My attempt to move from my present DreamWear FFM to the DreamWear nasal cushion is working for me. I tried many times before with little success. I am NOT a mouth breather but air did rush out through my mouth. The use of a cervical collar like device has held my mouth closed and eliminated the prob...

Would you worry about these Leaks?
I am seeing some leakage on my SH reports. I don't appear to notice the leaks and don't think they awaken me or are hurting my treatment. My AHI is good and it looks like my machine is compensating for the leaks. Am I missing something? Are the leaks causing problems I am not aware of.
