Re: Think I'm about to get booted from another forum

This is rather surprising to me. My daughter is Type 1 so I have browsed lots of sites and participate in some forums. Because diabetics have to deal with so much misinformation, they (sorry for the generalization) are usually open to understanding the facts around conditions. And if OSA is always c...

Re: Depressed about my new condition

AnimalRooster, Don't look at this as a bad thing. You know what's causing your fatigue and other symptoms. You did nothing to cause this - it's the way you were made! I've been on APAP about two months now and am seeing a difference in my life. I haven't fallen asleep once in the middle of a convers...

Re: Fairly New APAP User

I've turned off EPR and have given myself a little time to acclimate. In looking at the CA events, I think they are mostly SWJ, as they mostly coincide with times I remember waking up. Any suggestions on changes? I'm still feeling some fatigue during the day, but it has definitely improved. Thanks f...

Re: Another newbie about to have my first night with CPAP

From someone who is a few weeks ahead of you, I was having soreness in and around my nostrils and was about to try a different mask. I decided to push through it and now I don't get any soreness at all. We love Trolls at our house, too. It's not on heavy rotation any more. My youngest is 6. She's wa...

Re: Fairly New APAP User

I'll add a little more about myself. I'm a 48 year old male, 5'9" and 185 pounds. I take Benicar for hypertension and Prilosec for acid reflux. Since starting treatment, my sleep quality has improved, but I am still waking at night and am still feeling tired during the day. My blood pressure seems t...

Fairly New APAP User

Greetings, all. I have been lurking for a few weeks now. I've been on APAP for a little over three weeks now. I'm using a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset with an Airfit P10. I've just switched from medium to large nasal pillows. When I did my initial sleep study about six weeks ago, I had an AHI of 48.9....

Re: Nasal pillows issue

I'm 14 days in and am having the same issue with my P10. One of the things I've found that helps is to move the two parts of the strap pretty far apart and that helps but a little less tension on the headgear and less pressure on the nostrils. I have a rather large head, so that exacerbates the prob...
