I'd probably have to "fail" with this machine to get the auto.....like I had to "fail" with the brick to get this one.

Re: My Sleepyhead screenshots - help in interpreting, please?
Agreed!!!! The whole experience with this doctor/sleep center/in-house DME setup has been so frustrating.
My mom has a doctor that she loves. He's in another town nearly an hour away, but I'm switching.

I just checked and there is no auto-trial mode. I will try 18 and 23 tonight and see how it goes. Update tomorrow.
Thank you for the input!

Re: My Sleepyhead screenshots - help in interpreting, please?
My doctor specified the settings. The pressure on my first brick machine was set at 19, and the dr acknowledged that wasn't working, so I wondered why he kept it the same on this new machine. But then what do I know about this stuff? :D What would you recommend changing them to? I usually fall aslee...

My Sleepyhead screenshots - help in interpreting, please?
I have had my new BiPAP machine for two weeks now. I have just downloaded the info into Sleepyhead and am posting my last two nights' screenshots. My AHI was diagnosed as 83. The past two weeks on the machine the AHI has been all over the place, from a high of 34.10 to a low of 8.03. Frankly, I don'...

Re: Newbie - Respironics brick question
Belated thanks for the responses. It was very helpful. Here is a quick update on things. 1. Re my mom's ResMed machine: Her story is kind of tl:dr to post here, but the short version is that she bought that machine outright, had troubles with therapy (not the machine itself), ended up with a differe...

Re: Newbie - Respironics brick question

Re: Newbie - Respironics brick question
My doctor is actually the one who gave me the machine! And this is in a sleep center. It's their only business. Not like it's a GP who orders a home study. I did the sleep study there and then a titration study. I'm pretty frustrated with them. They give you virtually no information about anything. ...

Newbie - Respironics brick question
I have a question about the Respironics basic brick machine. I was given this machine by my doctor six weeks ago. I understand from what I've read here that it's basically useless to ME as far as any information on the SD card, but does the machine record any advanced information that the doctor can...
