Is the seal the clear bellows on the tank, or is it in the machine itself?

That’s a good suggestion, but I just changed my filter. One change I did make was remove one of those supposed bacteria filters. Everyone raved about those but I don’t get it. It restricted the flow a little, and 6 weeks later, it still looks new. I do however triple filter my HVAC system.
