CPAP strap covers, any smaller ones?
I’ve been buying the blue strap pads on EBay that are 9mm (3.541”) wide with Velcro. About every other night, I lose a pad in my bed. I get up in the night to get the bathroom and it almost never fails, one slips off. None that I’ve had were small enough to grip the strap properly. I either need a l...

Airsense 11 popping on inhale and exhale
This machine had done this since new. On occasion, it randomly starts popping on inhale and on exhale. If I pull out the water tank and firmly push it back in, the popping stops. I was thinking it had something to do with the tank, so I got a new tank, it still does it! I refill the water tank every...

Re: Popping from Resmed 11
Is the seal the clear bellows on the tank, or is it in the machine itself?

Re: Popping from Resmed 11
That’s a good suggestion, but I just changed my filter. One change I did make was remove one of those supposed bacteria filters. Everyone raved about those but I don’t get it. It restricted the flow a little, and 6 weeks later, it still looks new. I do however triple filter my HVAC system.

Re: Popping from Resmed 11
I hear what you’re saying but I don’t think that’s exactly it. I’ve had rainout in the past and I just hold the hose up high for a few seconds and it stops. To me that’s more of a mild gurgle rather than a pop. In my case, I can ever so slightly push the water tank in and it stops. Better yet, pull ...

Popping from Resmed 11
Anyone else get a popping sound with every breath from their AirSense 11? I fill the humidifier every night and firmly push the tank back in. Many nights I awake with my machine popping with every breath. I have to roll over, pull the humidifier tank out, push it back in, and it’s good again for the...

Re: Tubing diameter dilemma
Update: I connected the slimline tubing and set my Airsense 11 for slimline. I was able to go to sleep, but I woke at 3:30 am and had to swap the tubing to standard. Once I swapped the tubing to the 19 mm and changed the setting to standard, I went right back to sleep and slept well. The slimline tu...

Re: Resmed Slimline vs. standard tubing - how it works, settings
Thank you for this, I missed it previously, I didn’t have email reply turned on. It makes sense, I’ll give it a try. I am however concerned if the heated tube auto sets the machine and I couldn’t sleep with it, setting the machine for slimline now with the non heated tubing may be a fail too. I had ...

Re: Tubing diameter dilemma
Sorry, I must have missed your post. My machine is currently set on standard, I must never have seen that setting. Tonight I’ll try the slimline tubing on the slimline setting. Thanks for this. I did find that my usable tubing is 19 mm rather than 16 mm slimline. So is it safe to say that the slimli...

Tubing diameter dilemma
After getting my new Airsense 11, I was given the heated tubing. I could not get enough air thru that tubing and I woke with sore lungs. I replaced the heated tubing with the non heated tubing from my Airsense 10 and slept well. That tubing was purchased from CPAP.com and it is 7/8” diameter. Now on...

Looking to buy headgear strap pads, but they’re too big
I have strap pads for my Phillips comfort gel mask, but they’re too big for my ResMed F20. They’re too big around and fall off of the strap. Has anyone bought some that were smaller in diameter?

Re: I need a new mask,
Since Phillips no longer makes the comfort gel mask, I got the ResMed N20. I used it for a month and I hated it! I now have a ResMed F20 airfit and I’m pretty happy with it with one exception, I think I might be sensitive to the silicone. Ever since using it, I have kind of a red rash on my face all...

ResMed F20 causing red face
I’m new to the ResMed F20 mask. The version that I have is the F20 airfit, and I know that they make an F20 with a cushion. I chose the air fit because coming from the Phillips comfort gel, it had the outer silicone flap and it lasted a good while. They originally gave me the N20 mask, it had the cu...

Re: Resmed Slimline vs. standard tubing - how it works, settings
I want to throw something into this conversation, maybe there’s an explanation. I’ve had an Airsense 10 for 8 years, it has been great! I sleep comfortably and consistently. Recently I got a new Airsense 11, I’m having one heck of a time sleeping with it! I’ve tried different settings, different mas...
