Re: ED and Sleep Apnea
mesenteria, I certainly appreciate your input and expertise. I do certainly need to increase my physical activity. I'm in a tough situation where I'm in my early 40s and have 2 little kids. It's difficult to find time to get to the gym or exercise at all. I'm confident that working out, both aerobic...

Re: ED and Sleep Apnea
Just got diagnosed with SA. ED might be related but it is a different issue. I got tested and found my T levels were way low. Got therapy, back to normal. I had no other symptom than low libido/desire. I'm starting to wonder about my testosterone levels. And I believe I can boost it naturally with ...

Re: ED and Sleep Apnea
Yes, I know it's a very old thread. But it was a very inactive thread until recently, too. Let's all calm down a bit. The views on this thread continue to rocket up, though. Since I mentioned the view count, it's now over 10,400. I know other threads get a lot of views in a hurry, too. But still, th...

Re: ED and Sleep Apnea
Nicholas, this whole thread is "TMI." But it's important to talk about because even though it might be embarrassing, it's a health-related issue. Honestly, I kind of wish I had your problem. But I'm sure that the problem was very frustrating for you. I've been on a bit of an emotional roller coaster...

Re: ED and Sleep Apnea
So, I'm finishing my first week back on CPAP. I haven't noticed significant change yet. Maybe a little. Hopefully my wife will have some free time tonight. I also know it's only been a week and that it might take more time. Plus I also need to work on adding some exercise and trying to lose some wei...

Re: Very chapped upper lip
First of all, you should rinse new pillows (or any silicone mask cushion/pillow) before using as they may contain residues from manufacturing and/or packaging process. For irritated skin, use some Ayr's saline gel with aloe. It can take a few days to a week for skin to adjust to masks. Oh! My nostr...

Re: ED and Sleep Apnea
After the fourth day, I thought I felt a little morning wood... or at least a little tingling or something going on down there before I woke up. I was feeling very optimistic yesterday. Today I'm sort of back in one of my funks about if CPAP will work. I just have to remind myself to stay calm and t...

Skin Irritation
CPAP masks tend to irritate my skin. When I had the nasal mask that covered my whole nose, I would get irritation on the bridge of my nose. Right now, I'm using the pillow mask and the outer edges of my nostrils are getting sore and a couple of pores are getting clogged. Does anyone have any tips fo...

Re: ED & libido
I was back like my 30 yo self after about a week. I was back to my 20 yo self after about a month. Been waking up with a woody just about every morning for nearly 4 years now. This is very good to know. I'm three nights back onto CPAP now, so I'm sort of counting the days and keeping track. Of cour...

Re: DreamWear
Great to hear. I have the pillow one right now until I get a DreamWear. The pillow one is irritating my my nostrils. I'll have to talk to my doctor, I guess. Hopefully the DreamWear won't do that to me. Maybe I have sensitive skin.

Re: DreamWear
Unfortunately, the lady didn't have a DreamWear thing, so she gave me the pillow one. I'll get to try this until they send me a DreamWear.

DreamWear
So I'm finally getting my new machine today. I previously had used the gear that covered the nose with the hose attached. This time I'm trying the Dreamwear. I'm hoping it's a much better experience for me.

Re: ED and Sleep Apnea
Welp, today's the day that I finally get back on CPAP and see if it does the trick for me. I've been more relaxed lately and have been getting a little jogging in here and there when I can. I feel like it has certainly helped the ED situation a little. So I have high expectations for pumping in some...

Re: ED and Sleep Apnea
I am new on this board but I have had a CPAP for several years now and only used it off and on. I just had a neck fusion surgery and while I was in the hospital, a few things happened that convinced me of the need to use this machine every night. I am in my 50s and had been rarely having morning wo...
