I use surgical tape, to tape my mouth shut. But I use a nasal mask. Works for me.

I’m allergic to bandaids too. They raise nasty red welts on my skin. I use surgical tape to keep my mouth closed with my pillow mask. There is a clear 3m one that looks like the old roll of cellotape and there is a white roll that is just the tape with no dispenser. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com...

Re: Full face mask for someone with only a small nose bridge
And of course the ResMed full face masks need to be sized to the face. I was given a “medium” size mask, but it wasn’t until a lot of self education, that I realised that a medium was too small for me. I was assured when I got my medium mask that everyone wears a medium size mask. But maybe somethin...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 Motor Noise
I have a out of warrantee ResMed S10 with a motor that is “blown” at a cost of $500 to replace the motor. Your description of the sound is how I would describe my machine.

Check your PMs. I sent you a link for a safe place to get InfoSmart. You are on your own in terms of installing and using it though. Too many years have passed since I tried it and found it to be a huge PITA. All I remember is how much I hated it and that was before SleepyHead was even available. T...

Re: Anyone here use the new Resmed F20 mask...question for you
I think a lot of the F20 problems are caused by the fitting of the mask. When I first started using mine I had major problems with the bridge of the nose. It was extremely painful. Then I had more problems with leakage. I had two attempts at persevering with it, and adjusting the straps. But gave up...

Re: How long do machines last?
How long do machines last. I have a Resmed Airsense 10 Auto that is 11 months old and it’s died on me. Unfortunately is does not have any warrantee. So for me I think the cost of repairs (estimated about $500 +) is not worth it. So to all those people that have their old machines for many years, don...
