I'm not sure what that would prove; they aren't used that way, the machine is trying to compensate for the leak by increasing air flow? When on my face at 12 cmH20 & laying on my side there is no difference in air flow then when laying on my back.

I have been using this mask for several months & mostly sleep on my side. I haven't noticed any air flow restrictions.

I'm new, don't post much & I like it here. Good information; current thread being the exception. I don't like "piling on" but..., if you don't like it here...leave?

Tried it briefly last night, then went back to Dreamwear. I don't like the hard plastic on the nose pillows.

Try loosening the headgear. I don't even feel the hard plastic, I think it adds much needed stability.

I've used this mask for about a month; I too like it better than the Dreamwear.

My solution to the noise for both the N30i and DreamWear is to wear foam earplugs.

I just take my hearing aids out; then they are both quiet.

About the same.

I have both the Dreamwear & N30i; the N30i Standard is the same size as Dreamwear's Medium.
