Re: Repairing cushion seal on Dreamwear Full Face
OH, thank you, that's where I was getting confused. On my previous mask the cushion was just the soft silicone part. In that case the Amazon deal is definitely worth it! Thanks for the link, LSAT!

Re: Repairing cushion seal on Dreamwear Full Face
Apologies, but I'm still not following! I watched the video but it doesn't say anything about cushion replacement. I've double-checked my mask, and the cushion is glued or otherwise attached very firmly around the plastic, except for the part where it's detached and is leaking (see picture, with lea...

Re: Repairing cushion seal on Dreamwear Full Face
I'm not sure what that item is? If it's just the cushion, how would I attach it to the mask? The cushion on mine doesn't come off (except where it's come away from the plastic).

Repairing cushion seal on Dreamwear Full Face
Hi there! The cushion on my small size Dreamwear FF has come away from the plastic of the mask - it's a small area, but enough to create a leak. Does anyone know if it's possible to glue it back on successfully? I'm wary of just going at it with superglue or something in case that damages the cushio...

Re: Thoughts on sleepyhead data for the last few nights
Are you really using the Amara FFM mask? Yep, this one: AmaraMask.jpg It’s a small size and I was wondering if maybe I need a medium, but I used the printable fitting gauge and it does put me firmly in the small size. I feel like maybe it doesn’t quite fit right around my mouth when my jaw relaxes ...

Re: Thoughts on sleepyhead data for the last few nights
Thanks for the info on the respironics numbers, I will adjust SH for that I think. I’m less worried about the numbers than the fact that the leaks, however small, seem to be waking me up.

Thoughts on sleepyhead data for the last few nights
So, the first half of this week was hell, but at this point I'm back to feeling normal (for me) - sleepy and inclined to nap during the day, but not walking death like I was for the first five nights after starting the CPAP. I've played around with the pressure settings a bit but I'm planning to lea...

Re: Korean Spam Again!
I don’t know, random spam seems more like a Ferengi sort of thing.

Re: Korean Spam Again!
Ah, that makes sense - like I said, I was mostly confused about why people were so focused on Korean specifically. Previous run-in explains it.Okie bipap wrote: ↑Thu Mar 15, 2018 11:41 amPeople keep referring to it as Korean because the big spam attack we had last year was Korean.

Re: Korean Spam Again!
Few in the West can tell Hanja/Hanmun from Chinese. :-) I know, and honestly I wouldn’t really expect anyone to recognise the difference off the top of their head. I’m just confused as to why these one or two people keep insisting it’s Korean, even after being told it’s Chinese. If anything, I woul...

Re: Could do with a bit of moral support/commiseration
The only advice I have......stop taking naps without the CPAP. If you need a nap, wear the mask. Yeah, I realised that after yesterday. Will be putting the mask on when I lie down to rest from now on, even if I'm not intending to sleep. Hopefully that will also help me acclimatize more. I feel bett...

Re: Korean Spam Again!
It's not Korean. I realise no-one actually cares, but it's driving me a little nuts! And it's so odd to me to have people insisting it's specifically Korean. The languages are actually very easy to tell apart even if you don't speak them. So here is a primer on East Asian languages that no-one asked...

Re: Could do with a bit of moral support/commiseration
Thanks all. I called the clinic and the tech talked me through how to change the pressure settings. He thinks the max is too high, as I’m getting woken up by it later in the night, so we’ve turned that down. Now I know how to change the pressure I’m also going to raise the minimum a bit as suggested...

Could do with a bit of moral support/commiseration
So I'm on day 5 of CPAP, used it 4 out of 5 nights. I'm feeling miserable. Sleeping a lot worse than I was before, and I'm waking up feeling sick and depressed. Pretty much the only way to shift it is to go back to bed later in the day for a few hours, without the machine. I was also given a prescri...
