Re: Any Recommendations to Improve Therapy

Here is an image with the time right before I take off mask expanded. Anything unusual? I also posted an image of last night and I had another challenging night but I made myself remember what I was feeling and it felt like I couldn't get enough oxygen and felt like I was suffocating so I had to ope...

Re: Any Recommendations to Improve Therapy

Here is a new screenshot from last night where I did turn machine off and back on when I noticed discomfort and wanted to take mask off. I don't remember times that this happened except for the obvious 2+ hour break BUT I did put mask back on and am patting myself on my back for doing that. Can you ...

Re: Any Recommendations to Improve Therapy

Thank you for your recommendations. I will turn machine off and on when I wake up to start figuring out the why. I have tried changing EPR to 2 and that made my breathing feel rushed so I went back to 3. I am glad to hear the leaks do not appear bad.

Any Recommendations to Improve Therapy

So I am finally back to using my machine after figuring out the right hose temp and humidity to fix the water in the nose pillows. I am able to use the cpap for about 4-6 hours a night but my AHI still a bit high. Any recommendations for what I should do to improve my numbers and time on CPAP. I hav...

Re: Am I on the right track

Thank you all for your responses. I am glad to hear I should not be concerned with centrals. Do you know if me waking up at 2 hours after falling asleep and not being able to catch my breath is REM related? I did try lowering my ESR to 2 and it was very uncomfortable - felt like my breathing was bei...

Re: Am I on the right track

Here are two expanded flow rates of the clear airways which I think are the centrals for two different times.

Re: Am I on the right track

I am usually very asleep until 2 and then something wakes me up and my sleep becomes very restless.

Am I on the right track

So I am finally back to using my machine for more than 2 hours with the current settings plus humidity of 2 and heated hose at 70 degrees. Wet pillow issue taken care of. However, I am regularly waking up at 2 with a beating heart (I go to sleep at 10 usually) and when I checked my graphs I've had a...

Re: Advice on Settings

Hi Pugsy - there is no line on the flow limitation graph so somehow data disappeared. I did not have central sleep apnea as part of my diagnosis so maybe it is awakening. I will tweak the min and high pressure settings and leave it alone for a week to see how it goes. thanks for your links.

Re: Advice on Settings

Hi Pugsy: I think I am waking up because my body is woken up by my breathing being uncomfortable. In the middle of the night it is bathroom break but in the morning it is not being comfortable with breathing. I take mask off and go back to sleep for 2 hours and then don't wake up rested. I don't und...

Advice on Settings

So I am back to using my cpap for longer than two hours once I resolved the pillow leaking water situation. I would appreciate advice on whether my settings are okay or if I should change to reduce my AHI? Honestly, it would be great if someone told me what they see in the graphs. I think I am havin...

Re: Advice on Settings

I used the sleep head screen shot and image is still too big. Do I have to use Imgur for image to present correctly or is there another way other than resizing and then too small?
