Re: Wrong Usage Time

Why did I have to Erase Data in order to 'fall back' then? You didn't have to. It's perfectly acceptable to move the clock back, so long as you don't move back into a session with data, or a previous (ResMed) day with data. Perhaps one day, you'll see one of your YouTube idols do a video on howto c...

Re: Urgent ResMed filter question

The fibers could be coming from the cloth or paper towel you are wiping the tank with.

Stop wiping the tank for a few days and see if they go away,

Re: Motor Life Exceeded

You can't.

As soon as your ResMed hits about 20K hours it starts displaying that message.

Many have replaced motor, but message remains.

Re: Sorry to waste time

If you solved the problem, and updated your post, leaving the problem description, and sharing your solution nobody's time would be wasted, and others who might have a similar problem might benefit.

Re: Ramp Disabled

Well that's peculiar. After popping the card out with the machine on (which I don't usually do), it's available. Go figure. Looks like, as stated in my first post, there is a ResScan created config file on the SD Card. On the SD Card there should be a directory called Settings with some settings fi...

Re: Ramp Disabled

if the SD card was not mine, I would format it in my computer. Or, if you're concerned about which computer in has been in before, get a new one of your very own. If it was my own SD card, and somehow got updated when the modem was still used by the APAP, I would format the card before reinserting ...

Re: Aircurve 11 Vauto Leak Alert

The AirCurve 10 clinician manual and all my AC 10s have the Leak Alert configuration Item. The AirCurve 11 clinician manual doesn't mention the leak alert, makes sense that it was removed in the move from AC 10 to AC 11. Why one would want to be woken up with an alert, because of a leak is beyond me.

Re: Resmed Autoset 10 turned itself off and on

After I had my first "rude awakening" because of a power failure, I decided never again. I was in possession of a 32ah battery power station, but they don't help for contiguous power, for unexpected loss. I ended up buying EcoFlow Delta 2: Con: Expensive 1024 Wh uses EPS vs UPS. UPS draws off batter...

Scamdownbytheriver is being dishonest

Here's a Jason (well beloved here... not! ) This statement is a lie. @op forgive me for this thread hijack, but lies should be nipped in the bud, Jason is actually very well liked here at CPAPTalk. This poster doesn't seem to understand the difference between disagreeing with opinion and not liking...

Re: Struggling after switching to APAP from CPAP

You simply cannot draw the conclusion that you are struggling because of a switch from CPAP to APAP. You switched (at least) three things. CPAP to APAP Pressure changes - Fixed 10 to a range that typically lives between 12 and 17 but averages about 14 You turned on EPR, where before you had none. Ot...

Re: Resmed Autoset 10 turned itself off and on

You likely had a power disruption.

When a running AirSense has power removed, it will always return to the running state. This is independent of the state of the SmartStart setting.

Check to ensure power cable is seated properly in outlet, power brick and device.

I routinely watch FB MarketPlace and other online buy/sell places. I just picked up an AirCurve 10 VAuto, Heated hose with Oxy, Mask, SD Card for $450 CDN ($330 USD) used one night with 5 run hours. He was telling me, he had all kinds of people low-balling him. I was the first guy to offer what he w...

Have you been using SoClean (or other Ozone based) cleaner?

Ozone is a nasty product and is incompatible with a lot of materials. Others have had the foam disk break down because of SoClean use.

Re: Do you use the ramp function?

Looking at my data and going back a few years to my AirSense, when I had AutoRamp, snores are traced in both AutoRamp and Timed-Ramp. And about those who claim, that when in ramp, therapy doesn't occur and events aren't flagged, that is only true with timed ramp, not Auto-Ramp. I should have used mo...
