Private Insurance for Supplies (Canada)
Looking for others' experience for insurance coverage for supplies in Ontario, Canada. Since 2018, I have been getting 85% coverage of my supplies (mask, hose, cushions, tanks, filters) through SunLife, without issue. Last week while submitting, I noticed a new link that made reference to CPAP claim...

Re: How to avoid accidentally killing myself? Modified Resmed N20 nasal mask
Given that your diffusing the venting the same way ResMed is diffusing the the venting on the N30i and P30i, you should be good. If you are reducing the venting sufficiently enough to not vent the CO2 properly you are impairing the flow sufficient enough that you will find the mask too difficult to ...

Re: Mouth Tape Recommendations
There is really no point in using a hybrid/FF mask, if you are going to mouthtape. Mouthtape with a P30i if you like nasal pillows, or the N30i if you prefer cradle. I like the Cover Roll stretch - 2in x 10yard. Cheap, convenient, sticks well. https://www.amazon.com/Cover-Roll-Stretch-yards-Hypoalle...

I don't know where you read the reviews about the P30i, but it is one of the best selling (and favorite) masks out there.
Order a fit-pack and try it.
I've been using one for years, and it's been great.

Re: Large Leaks and Unclassified Apnea Indexing -OSCAR
The ResMed Algorithm uses a Forced Oscillation Technique to classify events as either Obstructive or Central. Basicly it rapidly changes pressure (1cm) at 4 Hz. It then measure the actual pressure change, a greater pressure change and the event is marks as Obstructive, less change and Central. With ...

Re: AutoStart/off? Airsense 10 AutoSet + Airtouch N30i
The SmartStart/off feature works with the N30i, but it is sensitive to a combination of pressure and mask size. SmartStart/off assumes nobody is attached to the hose because of backpressure. With small masks and small openings, sometimes enough backpressure is still generated that the ResMed believe...

Re: New Resmed 11 vs Dreamstation
Also the tank doesn’t seem to hold as much water and it runs out despite it being on the same humidity setting of 5. This statement doesn't make sense. There is no correlation between the humidity setting on a ResMed and on a Dreamstation. This is like saying there was more coke in my McDonalds cok...

Post your charts.
It appears your therapy is treating your apnea well, and assuming your sleep isn't being disturbed by leaks the cause of your exhaustion is not apnea related and won't be solved by adjusting your therapy.

Re: AirCurve 10 ASV humidity settings
There really is no point in using a heated hose for the first six feet only to use a non-heated hose for the second 10 feet. Thank you. I'll look at those other suggestions, but do you think I should take the hose cover off the heated hose? Since it's getting warmer, I could comfortably turn down t...

Re: AirCurve 10 ASV humidity settings
There really is no point in using a heated hose for the first six feet only to use a non-heated hose for the second 10 feet. As soon as the the humid air passes through the heated hose it will be cooled down sufficiently to condense. There is also no point in covering the heated hose with an insulat...

Re: S9 hard to breathe out?
Verify that it actually is set identically to the others, including EPR. You can compare it's pressure to your other devices by building a simple manometer. Essentially, putting the end of the tube into a deep water bath, turning it on and then measureing how far the tube goes down before the air st...

No, it is not correct.
There are two ways to get the data from a ResMed.
