Switching to Resmed auto from Dreamstation??

My almost 2 year old phillips dreamstation is permanently stuck on SERVICE REQUIRED error. I'm going to contact my dealer...noinsurancemedicalequipment tommorrow to see about repair under warranty. Even if they fix it I'm a bit disappointed in the fragility of the device. It's been giving this error...

Re: My latest DATA... Any Thoughts on lowering AHI?

I start sleeping face up but I eventually turn to the side. I don't feel anywhere near as tired as I did before therapy. No need for naps and the Mental FOG of living with Sleep Apnea is gone. I just thought that striving for an AHI of 1 or lower might give me even MORE superpowers! Muahahahahah. I ...

Hello all! I have been on my therapy for a few months now and was wondering what tips you could give me, if any, to continue to lower my AHI. Any suggestions will be most appreciated. USING Phillips Respironics DREAMSTATION, CHIN STRAP and PHILLIPS Nose Pillows. https://i.imgur.com/cftofQa.jpg https...

A week of APAP and some SLeepyhead DATA. Suggestions?

So a week in and I'm sleeping like a baby with the new machine. The first few days were stressful but now its all good. I've raised the starting pressure and have felt fine. I do wake up when the machine goes up really high (feels like its leaking all over the place) but then I fall back to sleep. I...

Re: Ok, Ready to start.. any suggestion?

The Dreamstation finally arrived. I must say it is bigger in person. The Provider sent me a DReamwear mask with all the pillows as well as the under the nose attachments. The pillows didn't work for me, I'm using the under the nose piece. Its a design that works well for me as I sleep with a closed ...

Ok, Ready to start.. any suggestion?

Going through CIGNA with a 750 Deductible was a no go. I went hunting online and found a brand new Dreamstation APAP with heated tube, 2 extra regular tubes, Dreamwear Mask kit and a bottle of Distilled water for $639 shipped 2day FedEx. I wanted the RESMED but the prices were much higher. I'm sitin...

Re: Diagnosed in November 2017 and still waiting...

Thanks for all the honest help. I called CIGNA and they have me down for a 750 dme deductible. After that I have a 30% obligation. So, bottom line is what you guys have been pointing to: best to go on my own as far as APAP purchase. Now the hunt begins.

Re: Diagnosed in November 2017 and still waiting...

Thanks VET & JACK for your rapid responses. Save money, thats' what I'm all about. I have seen many here recommend the Airsense Autoset 10. That can be had for 450? That sounds VERY reasonable. And yes, I see the great help being given here and I feel it may surpass that of my Primary.
