Re: bipap wanted

Thanks but I can't spend that much since I'm getting a new machine whenever Philips gets around to sending it. Just looking for a cheap backup machine.

bipap wanted

I just found out that my Philips recall registration data was incomplete thanks to Philips and no one bothered to call me. And my current System One machine suddenly displayed the 'service required message'. My circuit board is bad and if I can't use the one from my former System One I will need a m...

advice on philips recall

FYI - Just found out today that even though I had registered my bipap 8 months ago Philips had screwed up (surprise, surprise!!) and had only my apartment number without my street address. Also the Philips rep told me that you can register your machine or the place you bought it can do it on your be...

need 2 full face masks

I am looking for 2 full face masks for under $90. I videotaped my sleeping and I breathe through nose and mouth. Usually sleep on the side so the mask doesn't get squashed like it would if I slept on my stomach. I do turn from one side to another some. I went through 3 nasal masks in about 7 months ...

Re: need longer lasting mask

Couple of things - you don't have to follow the schedule of DMEs who of course benefit from your buying new stuff every 5 minutes, just be sure you have at least one backup of everything and then don't exchange what doesn't need exchanging... some of us have hoses from decades ago, some keep masks ...

need longer lasting mask

I began CPAP therapy around 2010 using an F&P nasal mask. Had no problems with the mask. Stopped using my CPAP machine a year or so later. Fast forward to 2018 when I had to replace my CPAP machine and my doctor wouldn't give me a prescription unless I had another sleep study. Was prescribed a BiPAP...

Re: data for helping with morning headaches

Got it at secondwindcpap.com.Don't have insurance. Good move. If your nasal passages start getting dry, you might want to try a humidifier. If you think you need one, ask secondwindcpap. They probably have one you can get inexpensively. It came with a humidifier because the prescription called for ...

Re: data for helping with morning headaches

The prescription called for a heated humidifier if I remember correctly. If you used insurance to purchase the machine, the supplier should have provided the humidifier. If you are self-pay, it's up to you whether you want to purchase the humidifier. If your nasal passages are not getting dry, you ...

Re: data for helping with morning headaches

Thanks for the info. The prescription called for a heated humidifier if I remember correctly. It's not near an A?C outlet.

data for helping with morning headaches

I have been waking up with minor headaches and I read that this could be due to sinus congestion, high pressure from my Phillips Respironics System One Bipap Auto, or lack of a heated humidifier. What data from the SD card should I be looking at to help diagnose this? I have a heated humidifier and ...

Re: one sd card works and one doesn't

I couldn't get my older 256 mb and 2 gb sd cards to work with my respironics bipap so my seller sent me a 1 gb which worked fine. He also replaced my bipap with another one of the same model. I just decided to start using the sd feature again and can''t find the 1 gb card he sent me. I tried my old...

Re: one sd card works and one doesn't

I made a mistake. What I read on the Internet said that a 1gb card holds 365 days of data and 1 month of detailed data. I checked some data that my System One RemStar BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex (750P) recorded and viewed in Sleepyhead for the Most Recent, Last Week, Last 30 Days, Last 6 Months, and Las...
