aerophagia

Hi guys.... I haven't been on in years, but I have a question. I have enough gas (especially in the a.m.) to power a small country. I recently had to switch masks because the amara view isn't available any more. I have something similar now and the gas seems worse. I feel as bloated as a beached wha...

Switching DME's

I've had it with my DME. They never return a call and I have had to order mask supplies from Amazon. I have medicare and really can't afford to pay for new mask parts. Does anyone know if Medicare will allow me to switch DME without a new prescription ? I really don't want to have to have a new stud...

Re: Amara View mask

It took a little while, but i finally got the hang of getting this mask on. what a difference from the traditional triangle shaped masks. I can see the t.v., I don't have air from the exhaust blowing in my eyes, it's great. Even my AHI has been lower. I'm happy. :D

Re: Amara View mask

I've been using it for 3 nights and like it for the most part. I am having trouble getting it adjusted at first. once I get the hole in the right position it is okay, but doing that takes a while. The fact that it is not over my nose is great.

Amara View

Is there a trick to getting the mask on right? The pulmonary therapist measured me for the right size, but I have to fiddle around for quite a while to get it so it doesn't leak. Once I get it is is good, but what am I doing wrong?

Re: Quattro™ FX For Her Full Face Mask

I'm on SS, so medicare pays so i can only get a new one after 3 months. For the first time ever I threw away my old quattro, so have been stuck with this one for almost that long. can't wait to try something else.

Re: Quattro™ FX For Her Full Face Mask

What do you mean "my attitude"? I have tried many masks over the 7 or 8 I have been on cpap and trying masks.

Quattro™ FX For Her Full Face Mask

Hi, I haven't been on for a while. I was formerly Portageegal, but couldn't log on. I am wondering about the Quattro™ FX For Her Full Face Mask. I have been trying the new F20 mask and for me it doesn't work. Leaks like crazy and my neck hurts from trying to keep it in place while I sleep. My pressu...
