have mild occasional soreness on the left-hand side of my chest, chest x-ray negative

My 50-year-old son Who has been diagnosed with sleep apnea and sleeps with a CPAP
wakes up every night after two or three hours of sleep with numbness in the legs
the numbness wakes him up
this has been going on for about 5 yrs
any insight will be greatly appreciated

I use a SoClean unit to clean my VPAP when home-- since SoClean units are not very portable I do not take it with me when I travel--I wonder how many nights one can NOT clean a VPAP unit without asking for trouble?
