Re: wisdom tooth extraction sinus perforation can wear cpap or not.

I now have one and trying to use a Vitera mask is !!!!!!...

Re: my air app question
I stopped using Oscar and now just look at Myair stats.
Oscar would show data which could not be explained so whats the point of it anyway,
If Myair shows that my AHI is good, leakage is low and the time used is OK why do I need anything else

Re: Narrow mask
After last night I know how low I can set the maximum pressure.
Even though my AHI was 0.2 I had a bad dream like I used to have pre CPAP.
So back to 10-16 which will be OK until I have more back teeth taken out on the other side of my jaw

Re: Narrow mask
I dont know what my untreated AHI is !!
I reduced the range from 10-20 to 10-16 with not much change in AHI
Reducing it to 10-14 gave me a AHI of 0.9 last night
Do I keep on reducing the pressure and loosening the straps

Re: Narrow mask
Im thinking that loosening the straps ,on my Simplus mask, and lowering the pressure, on my Airsense 10, to reduce leaks may be better than not using CPAP at all.
My pressure range is 10-16 and my AHI is allways under 1
What pressure could I reduce too and what would be a acceptable increase in AHI?

Re: Narrow mask
I have been given a Resmed Swift FX pillow mask to try . I was surprised how much air flowed through my nasal airways but its not enough. I was gasping for breath after 3 mins. My nasal airways are too restricted

Re: wisdom tooth extraction sinus perforation can wear cpap or not.
My sleep clinic has improved. When I first started the could supply a machine but no full face mask so had to buy one just to try out a machine. I have visited Resmed at Harwell Campus a couple of times and have bought numerous bits from them, I might buy a F30i from them but will do it from there w...

Re: Narrow mask
Thanks for that . I did not think it was that large.
Im hoping that the shape of the F30 may avoid the painful area of my face.
In the UK if I buy a mask from one website I can get a full refund if i return the mask. Seeing that the mask is larger than I thought that may be a better bet

Re: wisdom tooth extraction sinus perforation can wear cpap or not.
As I mentioned in a previous post Im from the UK My sleep clinic ? can only supply the Resmed F20 mask when I think the f30i would put less pressure on the painful part of my face. The Maxillo-Facial service at a local hospital who did the extractions have said that I can use my CPAP even though the...
