Re: Odd Problem

Something you might try...
First, adjust your humidifier to a higher level (adjustments may vary)
Second, If the first one works then congrats. If it doesn't try a full face mask.
-My assumptions and my options, good luck

Re: Resmed My Air

Why not use Sleepyhead, It's better. FYI: The newer Resmed AirCurve and AirSense devices no longer have the SD card - only cellular comm capabilities to the Resmed mainframe and your supplier's database. The other alternative is using an oximeter. Wearing another device whilst I sleep is something ...

Re: Resmed My Air

I've been using Resmed Aircurve VAuto for 6-weeks - and have been registered on MyAir for 4-weeks. My previous device, used for 3-years, was Resmed S9 (only SD card, no cellular comm to MyAir). I've never once had the urge to look at the all the technical data within the SD card - except when I visi...

Re: Resmed S8 vs. S10

I just started using the (let me be specific) Resmed Aircuve VAuto. I had the Resmed S9 VPAP for 3-years. The Aircurve VAuto looks very similar to the S10. Check and see, https://www.resmed.com/us/en/consumer/products/devices.html The S8 is 2 generations old. If it functions well and you have no com...

Re: Replace water tank & hose?

Regarding replacement of humidifier tank and hose; My three years on CPAP, and now using a newer model, I change my hose every 6-months and water tank once/year. Reasons to change hose or tank: - cracks or change in color. When plastic, silicon or other plastic-like items change color is a sign of a...

Traveling with my CPAP

My Model; Resmed S9 and Resmed AirCurve VAuto. Q: Why I travel with my CPAP A: (Key phrase: ‘recovery time’) When I travel it’s usually for work or holiday vacation - one or the other. When I travel for work, I’m on limited time, usually a pending deadline of the sorts. My body is already in a state...

Re: Advil PM long term solution?

Since 2005-2006 (way before I started using CPAP) I had a terrible time staying asleep. I had no problem going to sleep (9:30-10:30), however I would get up at 2:30-3AM every morning - and I had no problem staying awake during the day (most of the time). My friend recommended me taking Tylenol PM - ...
