Re: Ruined my Aircurve 10 Vauto? HELP!

It is so far off I don't even need to bother with the homemade manometer! The display was showing that it was putting out 21 ipap and normally, when I wake up in the morning, I unplug the hose from the mask and then turn off the machine. I know what the pressure is normally when I do that and this m...

Ruined my Aircurve 10 Vauto? HELP!

I went to my hunting lease Friday and took my machine with me. There is a really crappy camp cabin that I normally do not stay in when bringing my family but since it was just me a bud there to build a hunting blind, we made do. There is an old open front propane heater in the camp house that has be...

Re: No matter what I do, I keep getting leaks

My nasal issues are every night, unfortunately. Part of it is I am addicted to afrin. Yeah, I know, bad crap. Been using it for a very long time though. ENT tried helping me get off it but was not successful. He prescribed Flonase back when it was still RX and that made things even worse. Even durin...

Re: No matter what I do, I keep getting leaks

I mentioned in my OP that I am using a Padacheek mask liner. I really like it since it makes the silicone feel better on the skin but has not helped with leaks. I have it in my head that all leaks are bad. maybe if I can convince myself that leaks are common and not to worry bout, I will end up slee...

No matter what I do, I keep getting leaks

I am on day 23 of BiPap use. I have worn my mask and used my machine faithfully the entire nite for the entire 23 and have no plans to stop. I certainly still feel a lot better (I noticed results the first night) and still have not had a headache upon waking which was an every day thing prior. I use...

Re: Resmed My Air

I just got an AirCurve Vauto 4 weeks or so ago and it did indeed come with an SD card and was new out of the box with 0 blower hours. DME said they just got it in that week.

Re: Headgear straps hurting my neck...padacheek?

Thank you Pugsy!

Yes, they did measure me for the Amara View. I just felt pain with it touching the bottom of my nose for extended period. I will admit that I did not try it very long though, maybe 30 minutes. May have to break it out and try it again! I really liked how it sit on the face.

Headgear straps hurting my neck...padacheek?

I have been on my BiPAP for 2 weeks now and it is really making a difference. However, the straps for the headgear REALLY hurt the back of my neck/head. Unfortunatley, due to chronic nasal congestion, I have to use a full face mask and my pressures are usually pretty high, sometimes hitting 23 or 24...

Re: Advil PM long term solution?

While the children play and pollute your thread, I will give you some others to consider! Melatonin is a good one as mentioned. L-Theanine is also very good as is Valerian Root. I take one of each and fall asleep very well, even with this freaking scuba mask on each night! All three of these are nat...

Re: Aircurve 10 Vauto shut down on its own last night

We have cats but we do not allow them to stay in our room. I checked the power cord at all places it plugs in. All good. We have a VERY reliable power grid here and the power only goes out once every couple of years during really bad storms. It is extremely rare here.

No chance of a power blip. Clocks were all correct and none of the computers restarted or shut down. I do have autosense on. Here is the graph during the period.

Aircurve 10 Vauto shut down on its own last night

I have a brand new Aircurve 10 Vauto that I have used for about 3 weeks now. Last night, I awoke gasping for air and unable to breath. Shortly I had pressure again and all went back to normal. Forgot about it when I woke up this morning but upon reviewing my data in Sleepyhead, I see a gap of a litt...

Sounds good! I would post their name here but not sure if it is allowed. I also wanted to show respect for the owners of this site.
