Re: CMS 50D+ accurate?

My SpO2 results look similar to yours. 95-97 waking, 90-93 sleeping, by memory.

One night I ate supper after a 4 day fast - I felt very hot like my metabolism was kicking while trying to sleep and my O2 was much lower as well. I'd like to repeat that.

Re: Update-clogged filters --> high pressure -wife's humidifier?

Thanks everyone for your replies. 8 days now with no issues, so it is strongly pointing to the separate ultrasonic humidifier being the issue. We do not have a water softener and had used tap water in it. I'm looking at two options - buying a non-ultrasonic humidifier for the wife or buying a small ...

LSAT - good point. Update-clogged filters --> high pressure -wife's humidifier?

An update from my previous question (thanks everyone for the ideas!) My issue that was after a month plus of use, my CPAP would continuously ramp up to a high pressure that would wake me up and make it hard to initially fall asleep or fall back to sleep. Every time I would wash the larger filter and...

Here is my Sleep as Android graph for the same night. It measures movement of my phone which is next to my pillow.

What to make of this SleepyHead data?

Here is the data for one night when I had my pulse oximeter on. For a period of time, I had either very low flow rate or low/unknown respiratory rate. I zoomed in on a 5 minute period: https://imgur.com/a/lWMD1 FYI, I believe I fell asleep about 10pm and was awake from 12:15 to 1:05. (and a brief pe...

Re: are these real CSA events?

To keep your pulse ox on during the whole night, put a sock over your whole hand and up your arm. I haven't had one fall off this way.

Wearing a pulse oximeter during sleep - quick test for SE?

I bought a pulse oximeter (CMS 50D+) to measure my O2 throughout the night from time to time. I let my mom use it throughout the night since she gets poor sleep. However, she had a very consistent high 90's level the entire night! Is it safe to assume she doesn't have SE or can you have it while sti...

Re: Can't figure out how to upload oximetry data

if you skip that step or don't have it, then once you are in (ie select com3 then click connect), go to file then "Device Stored Data". Then continue on my list of instructions.

Re: Can't figure out how to upload oximetry data

I just bought the same one a month ago and struggled to upload data.

Once you get to the last screen you posted, save it to a different folder (i do desktop). Then it saves and you can open it from your deskstop or then move the file somewhere else.

Re: Cpap pressure too high

I've washed the larger filter several times and let it dry before using it. I've also replaced the disposable filter. I called the distributor to see if I can get another filter and they said no, it's not time yet, so I ordered some on Amazon :/ I did go too long w/o cleaning the larger filter. Perh...

Kept hitting ramp as I couldn’t stand the high pressure https://imgur.com/a/H31nO Tolerated high pressure for part of the night: https://...
