Re: How to avoid accidentally killing myself? Modified Resmed N20 nasal mask

A bunch of us have been making DIY diffusers for different masks for years. I doubt you'll die.

One change last night was a reduction in humidity setting from the 7 down to a 6.
No rain out but need more nights.
I had to turn the humidity down when transitioning from the 10 VAUTO to the 11 Autoset. Like yours, mine does not run out of water either. I use less than half a tank a night.

I just think the machines are a pain in the ass.

. . . an annoyance.
I love what my CPAP does for me and won't sleep without it, but it is 1000% a pain in the ass. It's not life-crushing like a colostomy bag, just another annoying routine to have to deal with.

Re: Traveling with Cpap

Cruise ships have their own cell service onboard. Your device may or may not connect to it. No worries, though. Cozumel has great service, and your CPAP will connect there and upload when you dock. Even if it didn't, it would still collect data and update when you get home. You'll be all caught up a...

Regardless, you will need a solar charger if you have no other way to charge the battery when not in use.
Or carry a huge battery or several smaller ones. I could do that comfortably with 3 scooter batteries. Uncomfortably with 2.

Bleep Eclipse halos. They adapt to the shape of your face.

sorry, I should have sent links to the AirBreak project for the uninitiated:

https://airbreak.dev/
https://github.com/osresearch/airbreak
Cool! We have long needed an open-source firmware update for these machines to guard against the manufacturers locking us out of our data.

Re: Why dooes a DME need full copy of sleep study to sell me supplies?

That does seem odd. Like a pharmacist wanting to your know your vitals and see an EKG before selling you blood pressure medication. If the doc prescribes it, they should be good to go. I'd push back.

Pugsy or anyone else who uses the bleep, do you use some type of moisturizer or anything on your nose after you get the adhesive off?
Just go slow and it'll come off fine. If you mess up you'll be back an old-school mask for a few days while your nose heals.

Re: bleep eclipse availability

You shouldn't have to ask permission to switch DME's. Just find one that has what you want and ask if they take your insurance.

Check out Aeroflow. They take most insurance and have everything in stock. You will have to get a PDF copy of your prescription for them.

USB SD card reader if your laptop/notebook/PC doesn't already have a reader built in. And make sure your CPAP has an SD card in the card slot from day 1.

Chinstraps, tried them all . . .
Did you try one that covers your mouth and applies pressure up instead of back?
