Re: Newbie Greetings, findings and sadly, questions
In my own experience, and the experience of two friends: the doctors and DME have been worthless, and the sleep studies have been near worthless. Well that's not promising. I'm unsure what a DME is but my sleep specialists, nice as they are I do feel that there's no real control over the treatment ...

Re: have you had these specific symptoms?
Have you experienced either of these symptoms related to having sleep apnea: 1) feeling off-balance when sitting or standing, like you're on a boat (and not just when first standing or sitting, but ongoing) 2) legs often feeling weak and shaky Thanks! Hi Rainmom. I have felt off-balance for some ti...

Re: Pining for the good old days...
I started at the freecpapadvice forum, but left because of diamaunt's condescending attitude. Sure, there were nuggets of good information there, but too often it was delivered in a mean-spirited way. I am not the only PAPer who left that forum. I enjoyed this forum at first, but the flame wars and ...

Re: Newbie Greetings, findings and sadly, questions
Err I don't know what's going on here but I really don't want to cause a squabbling match. I had a really bad night last night. Under 4 hours sleep isn't the norm for most people including me. I was hoping for some informative assessment of the pages that I uploaded from sleepy head to be able to b...

Re: Staining of Pillowcases????
I am a CPAP user who is experiencing the same problem and it's ruining my pillowcases too! It seems to me that the humidity in the air is somehow the source of the problem; at least in my case the stains appear like droplets of water that are coming from one of the CO2 escape valves on the mask. I ...

Palerider is known as diamaunt on another cpap forum. I learned something by looking up diamante.Guest 360 wrote:Did you mean: Diamante?Bertha deBlues wrote: Thank you, Diamaunt.

Re: Do I need to change the clock for Daylight Savings Time?
So if I sleep Sunday from midnight to 6am, that's really 7 hours. Will my PR machine know that? Will Encore? Will Sleepyhead? This will be interesting. The clock drift thing has given me some odd results on the local screen, but I don't get compliance-checked so no biggie. We'll have to compare not...

Re: Do I need to change the clock for Daylight Savings Time?
I can change the time on my Philips Respironics DreamStation AutoPAP by going into "my setup" then "clock." I can only change it in 30 minute increments, and it's always 5 or 6 minutes behind the actual time, but I don't worry about that. I change it when we go on and off DST and also when I travel...

Re: OT: Time out and/or Duke it out thread
 Git 'em, Pugsy!!! He's in the duke it out thread now. He's fair game now for me to call him whatever I want. I don't feel real good so I don't know how much sparring I feel up to though and I can only bang my head so many times on that brick wall before I realize the headache just isn't worth...
