Re: Woke up with faster breathing and feeling off/anxiety
Seems any time I've become aware of a diagnosis I become hyper aware of every little twinge and wonder if it needs medical attention. Maybe that's what you are going through, I certainly don't know. I'm guessing from the responses you struggle with anxiety. I would hesitate to tell anyone to ignore...

Re: Woke up with faster breathing and feeling off/anxiety
OK thanks. How can I delete all my past threads then? I'm following up Monday again with my cardiologist but I doubt he will have anythinf else to suggest.

Re: Woke up with faster breathing and feeling off/anxiety
I did talk to my doctors. I had a recent Echocardiogram Stress test running on treadmill. Just saw my electrophysiologist three weeks ago and ECG all normal. My PCP is worthless and he has run all tests. Also had my oncologist do tests for clotting and she had no answers to my symptoms. I guess I ca...

Woke up with faster breathing and feeling off/anxiety
48yo Male, 260lbs, 6'1", with two instances of DVT/PE blood clots, and one instance of AFIB in 2017. I'm on Xarelto for life, and get routine blood work for clotting, which has been negative. Also on Bystolic (Beta Blocker). Guys, I've been doing well for most part. But some nights, even with low AH...

Laying on left side causes SpO2 drops and symptoms
I've been noticing some high tital volume events at night. They correspond with an SpO2 drop with no apnea. Also I've had two mornings, where I wake up feeling "unusual" and unusually tired with a hint of anxiety. I'm on med's for anxiety and panic disorder. But this didn't feel like anxiety. I call...

Re: Arms/hands go numb, SpO2 drops, heart races
I can't remember now if it was you I suggested to look something up a month? ago, but plse Google "Thoracic Outlet Syndrome" It's not about OAS or equipment, but you might have it... So I'm forwarding an xray I had taken earlier in the year to my family physician. I asked him about TOS and he wante...

Re: Arms/hands go numb, SpO2 drops, heart races
Is it abnormal for your arms and hands to go slightly numb and face warm, when oxygen deprived at around 84% or so? Yes, it's abnormal. Most people have no symptoms whatsoever at that level. Here's an entertaining video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUfF2MTnqAw Wow, that's a sobering video. Afte...

Re: Arms/hands go numb, SpO2 drops, heart races
Your O2 drop on 8/6 looks like you rolled over in bed. The 8/5 data shows the expected results. O2 drops, then pulse rate increases. FYI...All screenshots are from the same night 8/5. The Contec oximeter , I download in the mornings, so it puts the next day 8/6. So yes, my O2 dropped, then pulse ra...

Re: Arms/hands go numb, SpO2 drops, heart races
Have you ever seen a neurosurgeon (not an orthopedic one) who could look at your neck and also check for TOS? Be wary of orthopods who only want to operate no matter what... n-surgeons also operate, but will have a more conservative and more knowledgable take on the overall picture, so if you have ...

Re: Arms/hands go numb, SpO2 drops, heart races
WT - Is there a reason you're ignoring my posts re Thoracic outlet syndrome? I learned about it working for various neurologists. Not ignoring. I have it written in my notes and was reading about it now. TOS does seem possible. I have to wear a neck brace at night to keep my neck straight, otherwis...

Re: Arms/hands go numb, SpO2 drops, heart races
thanks. I went to see that place already but didnt have a sleep study there. I guess I may need to call them and talk to them again about my symptoms. Is it abnormal for your arms and hands to go slightly numb and face warm, when oxygen deprived at around 84% or so? I wouldn't think so. But then aga...

Re: Arms/hands go numb, SpO2 drops, heart races
Considering a better doctor might be a good idea. Sounds like this one is not the one you need. Unfortunately that's easier said then done. The Austin Texas area doesn't really have much selection of doctors that listen . I've tried going to two other sleep doctors, and also contacted others and se...

Arms/hands go numb, SpO2 drops, heart races
I had an event this morning, woke up on my back, with arms and face slightly numb/warm . My SpO2 watch showed 86% and heart rate 100bpm +. When I woke, it returned to normal quickly. These events have been reoccurring more often, when laying on my back. I have gained about 30lbs over this year and a...
