Re: SPO2 to be concerned or not -Updated
As I posted on another thread I have turned to the private medical system here. Anyway, I've had an appointment with a doctor who says it would be interesting - due to my anatomy/data from sleep lab - if there was any difference between using CPAP and not if I sleep 100% on my side. He can, of cours...

Re: General Flow Rate Question
Thanks for the reply Vinnie! I'd read Pugsy's FAQ but I've somehow contrived to miss the part on flow rate! Thank you for taking the time to reply!

General Flow Rate Question
Hello everyone. I have a general question about Flow Rate. Below I've posted an image from last night's SleepyHead. I am quite happy with my numbers and I am still perfecting sleeping on my side (I managed to accidentally roll onto my back briefly last night hence the small cluster of events) but be...

Re: AHI below 5 but still feeling tired
G'Day Kiri, Please, please don't give up - the answer(s) will be somewhere and everyone here will try and help you as much as we can. I understand your situation, it sounds quite similar to mine. I was taking escitalopram for a while, and it took the edge of the depression/anxiety but that was about...

Re: Respiratory rate
This post is just to say please do not give up if you are struggling with therapy! It seems I have found the key to my treatment, sleep position. But it has been a tough road to travel to get here. My numbers could be lower, my sleep is not perfect, I'm even tired still - but I feel like a different...

Re: Respiratory rate
Thank you so much Pugsy! Last night's number of 1.61 is about normal for me, and that's before I have deducted sleep onset etc. I have also just realised that the numbers from the sleep lab are not per hour but per night - 4,4 and 3!
Thank you again for your time, you've been a great help!

Re: Respiratory rate
I fully understand your love of animals, Pugsy! I've given a house to some rescue dogs here, though I'm currently dog-less! My results continue to improve, here's last night's: http://imgur.com/a/RAGO4 Pugsy (or anyone else who might know), may I ask your opinion on the CA number? At what number sho...

Re: Respiratory rate
Thank you Pugsy, it's definitely a lot better than it was and right now I am happy with that!
I'm very sorry you are not having a good night's sleep - I wish you the best and hope the day and the dogs go easy on you!

Re: Respiratory rate
My last three nights have been significantly better. Last night there were quite a few centrals, but I think this is very likely SWJ - I've now had four different sleep lab studies, with no doctor mentioning centrals, and they only seem to appear when I have a restless night and have switched the ma...

Re: Respiratory rate
Another day another nightmare I'm afraid. The sleep lab was not very comfortable and I only slept about four hours, which was split in half almost exactly on the lab report. The first half at a pressure of 5-12 was bad, the second half was at a pressure of 7-16 and was 'good'. I don't have a breakdo...

Re: Events on Sleepyhead
Quick question: on Sleepyhead, next to each event it tells what time it happened and then there's a number in parentheses -- is that number showing the number of seconds duration of the event or something else? Thanks! (Oh, and a side question - anyone know how long it usually takes to be registere...

Re: Respiratory rate
Thank you Pugsy - I'll definitely ask about the bi-level as an option. I suppose I will have more information to share tomorrow, for now I best pack my bags and hope for the best!
Thank you so much for your help and Gute Nacht!
