Re: 'Majority must be trained to adjust own pressures' -- Dr. K.

Re: Dropped my CPAP in the case, have you ever dropped yours?

If its the same case that came with mine and it hit on the bottom it should be fine. there is a pocket at the bottom that holds your mask and wires and they should have softened the blow. also the bags them selves are pretty good protection in my opinion.

Re: Paid Market Research on the topic of Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Not spam to my thinking either and they may very well have already asked permission. I am not privy to that end of things. She told me a while back that often they are contacted prior to posting stuff like this by the people involved. Either way (prior approval or not)...I saw it earlier and decide...

Re: VA Clinics

Anyone using the VA for sleep apnea and getting their supplies? Equipment and supplies have not been a problem at all with my local VA - they are excellent, even when it's masks they don't stock. The sleep clinic side of it is wearing very, very thin right now.... For instance, I just was told AGAI...

Re: Amara View - nose numbness

It took me a long time to get the Amera view to fit correctly. During part of the fitting I had it to tight and would wake in the morning with the tip of my nose sore. the best way i have found for me to fit it now is every night i disconnect it from the hose. plug the holes with my thumb (main inpu...

Re: ONE VETRANS STORY

... I have now been on the sleep therapy for about 6 months and although I have still not had that magical morning I hear so much about where I wake up fresh and rested I think it has done me a lot of good. ... You didn't mention how effective the data shows your CPAP therapy to be. AHI? Leak line?...

ONE VETRANS STORY

Hi, my name is Chris Holcomb. I’ve been trolling this site for about 6 months finding tons of useful information. I thought it was time to introduce myself and tell a little about my journey in the event it may give someone else answers and hope. I am a disabled Army VET and use the VA system. I was...

Re: What questions should I ask at sleep study follow up?

Only took me about 3 weeks. Like I said you have to be persistent. after the first week i started calling every other day asking if they had any cancellations in the next class. At the time mine did classes twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Re: What questions should I ask at sleep study follow up?

Do insure VA gets the report. I had to have mine faxed over 3 times before they got it. Before receiving my CPAP I was required to go to the VA sleep center and take a class. Stay on top of the Sleep center to get that scheduled. Im not sure where your located but the Atlanta VA sleep center has a l...

Re: Supply replacement without insurance,....

Not sure on the frequency of replacement of supplies. But did want to slip in and mention Amara View is the most comfortable mask Ive tried. It took me about 2 months to get a good seal. None of the tips or videos helped I had to find my own way. Mine came down to as simple as cleaning mask and face...
