Re: Sleepyhead Data and FLEX settings
an ASV is the best to use for central/mixed/complex apnea situations how well it treats depends on your exact body and situation Trying to understand Does everyone have these Clear Airway Events? Is it something to keep an eye on and bring up to my doctor? Lowest oxygen during sleep study was 85%. ...

Re: Sleepyhead Data and FLEX settings
Remember Clear Airway events we can't fix with more pressure so in your evaluations of your data you have to remove the CAs from the evaluation process. Example...May 25 the AHI was 3.48 and 1.56 of that was CA...so you have to subtract the CA index from the 3.48 and the ending result is 1.92 which...

Sleepyhead Data and FLEX settings
Hoping to get help comparing 2 days of data. First day my low pressure was 11cm. Second day I set low number to 10cm and I turned off the FLEX as was suggested. My Dreamstation has two flex settings. One is FLEX with the options of OFF, A-FLEX, AND C-FLEX. I set this one to off. The other FLEX setti...

Re: Pressure Setting Sleepyhead Help Needed
Actually going from a 7 minimum to above 12 minimum is probably way overkill in terms of pressures needed and could potentially create some problems with that big of a jump. I wouldn't suggest that big of a jump at all. I would think more along the lines of changing the 7 minimum to 8 minimum and s...

Pressure Setting Sleepyhead Help Needed
Looking at this chart, it seems to me that the higher number should be increased to greater than 15cm since the red line was to the top of the pressure graph. Does this seem logical? I don't like all the CA's and OA's. Should I leave settings as is or make some changes or wait til I see my doc (he h...

Need Help with Adjustments - Sleepyhead
Last night I ended up increasing my settings as advised. First screen shot is before increase where setting was 7 - 11. Second screen shot is after increase with settings of 9 - 20. My AHI went from 6.34 to 3.35. Would there be a way to get a lower number? There was a section where there was periodi...

Re: Sleepyhead Newbie
Thank you Hopeful 50. I did find the clinical settings on my machine. Your link is for the Airsense 10 auto, I believe. I am using the Dreamstation Auto currently....now that's another story....I really tried to get the Airsense 10 auto, but I had to deal with my DME provider telling me they couldn'...

Re: Sleepyhead Newbie
I'm a little apprehensive about raising the pressure myself without having a conversation with my doctor. My machine is still in the rental phase of Medicare payments so I don't know if I should be messing with it. I am very tempted. LSAT, how did you arrive at the numbers 9 to 15 that you suggested...

Sleepyhead Newbie
My sleep study was done on 3/21 - 83 events per minute. I started out with a Resmed Airsense 10 CPAP machine set at 8. I was having an AHI of 5 -11 each night. My doctor increased the setting to 9. The increase didn't make a difference. For the past 2 days, I have been using a Dreamstation Auto Mach...
