Re: CSA and Opioids
Thank you for the info. As far as I can tell, I am sleeping through the night....not waking up in any pain. For the first week or so I would wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom due to the amount of fluids I had to take in due to using the pain medication. I'll dig in to the respir...

CSA and Opioids
I had pretty extensive knee surgery in early December and was prescribed and opioid pain killer. The first couple of nights I slept normally but after that I noticed my AHI going up from an average of 2-3 to over 15 most of which were being classified as Centrals. In researching online I found sever...

Re: Concerned about leaks
I do use the mask fit every night lying down just to keep an eye for headgear stretch and such.

Re: Concerned about leaks
My problem is I don't really want to mess with the machine too much. Not sure what my insurance would say changing the settings. Once I'm out of the trial period and it's mine I'll feel more comfortable changing things.

Re: Concerned about leaks
Did you by chance forget to put the SD card back into your machine and instead left it in the computer over night and then put it in the machine? The SD card MUST be in the machine all night during use to get more than the summary data and those missing data files are also needed for accurate summa...

Re: Concerned about leaks
Feeling good aside from trying to figure out why SleepyHead data for last night won't import more than summary data and that data is incorrect by a long shot when compared to myAir as far as # of events and time slept.

Re: Concerned about leaks
Good to know. Being new to all, trying to digest as much info as I can. I don't mind the full face mask, but am considering switching to a hybrid. I tend to mouth breath periodically so I can't do just nasal pillows. Since my DME seems to push for the resmed masks, was considering trying out a Mirag...

Re: Concerned about leaks
If they wake me up, I am not conscious of it. I do know that I have been feeling much more rested since starting and the dark circles under my eyes are almost gone. Just a bit concerned when I see all of the leaks...but if they aren't going into large territory often I won't concern myself. I know t...

Concerned about leaks
So I've been seeing other peoples screenshots and their leak data from SH is almost a flatline. I looked at mine and it is all over the place. I am concerned my mask isn't fitting as good as the machine says it is when I do a mask fit test. I keep my facial hair trimmed very close but I do not shave...

Re: Curious on events
Thanks for the good info. I think I'm just going to write them off as junk and move on. Like I said, I know that was around the time I shut the TV off and rolled over so I was either starting to fall asleep or had just fallen asleep. Even with the cluster, AHI was 2.3 so I'm not overly concerned, ju...

Curious on events
Ok, so my tech at my sleep study had told me that even on CPAP I'll still have events but the machine will detect it and adjust pressure to stop it...I know I may be oversimplifying but that was the gist of it. Anyway, in looking at my SH data over the course of the last few days, I notice that when...

Re: Ramp time question
If the machine listed in your profile is correct, it will not provide you with any meaningful therapy data...only very basic AHI and leak information. You would need the ELITE or AUTOSET models to be able to monitor your therapy. The CPAP model is a "brick". Since you are very new at therapy, you m...

Ramp time question
Hello all, New here, newly diagnosed, and on day 4 of CPAP. Not worried about my numbers or anything, just curious on opinions on the ramp time settings. Right now I have mine set to auto at the advice of the DME, and from looking at my Sleepyhead data, it doesn't take long for it to ramp up to with...
