Re: Cheapest Source for Distilled Water
NeilMed only uses 6 oz...a gallon is 128 oz. You can get 20 refils from a gallon. Even with your CPAP I think a gallon will last over 2 weeks. For $2 a month it wouldn't be worth the effort to look for an alternative. I completely agree. I use the NeilMed bottle about twice a day now. I only use di...

Re: Lincare Sending Stuff
Sigh, Lincare is terrible. I had a sleep study and everything done. Lincare took 4-5 months from the time of prescription to CPAP schedule. I called weekly and always got one hell of a run around with them. The week before my trial CPAP was finally to be delivered I started a new job and was going t...

Re: Himalayan Salt inline with CPAP hose.
Did some calculating today.
Saltwater is
35 grams of salt per liter.
133 grams of salt per gallon.
1 Tbsp = ~17 grams
That's 7.8 Tbsp per Gallon of water if anyone wanted to know.

Re: Himalayan Salt inline with CPAP hose.
I have been adding salt to my humidifier water for about 8 years now. No problems with humidifier chambers. No problems with machines, but I am careful not to spill the salt water into the machine. I started with an S8 and am currently using an AirSense 10 AutoSet for her. With both machines I am a...

Re: Himalayan Salt inline with CPAP hose.
Well, been using salt in humidifier and thus far seems to be working out. Overall I feel less stuffy when waking up and can't say I've died. Placebo or not I'll keep it up until something goes wrong. I took a new gallon jug of DI water and added ~3 tablespoons of Himalayan Salt to it. I've been topp...

Re: Himalayan Salt inline with CPAP hose.
We have a forum member who has routinely added salt (and a lot of it) to the water in their humidifier chamber and never really had a problem cleaning it I don't think. I might be inclined to try it and just have a spare chamber handy just in case it creates a problem that can't be cleaned up (good...

Himalayan Salt inline with CPAP hose.
Alright guys hear me out. I believe in Himalayan Salt rocks. I have one at home, I keep one at the office, and I even use a small inhaler for it when I can remember it. This stuff helps. Yeah, it's just a rock but it helps me. Placebo or not it's good. I am trying to figure out a way to introduce th...

Re: CPAP batteries
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYKQT98 Use this for camping and can get a solid 5+ nights out of it w/o humidifier. Zero regrets. It would also be nice to know what pump and pressure you're using. This pack only has 15 Amp-hours at 12 volts - There aren't many setups that would run 4 nights with this...

Run it with the cable and adapter that comes with it. 12v. Also I purchased a cig lighter cable so i can charge is b...

Re: Trying to understand my results.
Thanks for taking the moment to look through the data again Robysue. I"m sure you're right with me being interrupted many times. I suspect that this might happen but in the morning I have no recollection of this. I've added a link to my album up top and will continue to add my results every few days...

Re: Trying to understand my results.
First, thank you everyone for taking the time to look at the results. I'm kinda handling this on my own and it's hard to understand everything all at once. I've read up on the forums but just picking brains always seems to get the best results and understanding on my end. First the easy thing: To co...

Trying to understand my results. {UPDATE}
Morning folks, I recently acquired a CPAP machine and picked up a new ResMed Airfit P10 and hose for it. Overall I feel this is helping me and the misses has commented on me not snoring or waking up constantly. But, I'm looking to see if I can tune things a bit better. Have a look at my past week of...
