I was switched to bipap therapy for several reasons. After 3 1/2 years of CPAP use, with pressures changing from variable 12-20, and ending with the pressure set at 15, I was doing less and less well. I have just been switched to a ResMed AirCurve 10 bipap machine. I have not had any trouble with the change. My AHI is around 15 now, whereas on my CPAP machine, my index was usually around 5.
