Re: Amara View - Not what I expected

I used that mask for over a year with my pressure set at 20 - 25 cm H2O, and had very few leaks. It can be difficult to get adjusted correctly, but once you do, it seals well. Nah, I'm happy with the Swift. It never leaks and isn't so finicky with the fit. I can sleep on either side or on my back w...

Re: Amara View - Not what I expected

Are you going to keep the View for a while to see if maybe you can get it to work later and have it for emergencies or are you going to return it? The CPAP Store here doesn't take returns on masks so I'm out $150. Used it for about three hours and then threw it off and reattached the Swift and went...

Amara View - Not what I expected

I've been using a Mirage swift for ages but thought I'd try a full face again. I tend to be a mouth breather at times because of my deviated septum but on the best clear breathing nights the Mirage Swift works fine. Re: New Member, finally compliant.

I listed the machine in the equipment section of my profile but it doesn't show. I have my minimum pressure set at 8cm. My machine is older but hardly used. I received it in 2007 and it does have a smart card in it. It's a RemStar Auto M-Series with C-Flex with about 1000 therapy hours use.

Re: New Member, finally compliant.

Thanks for the responses. I just woke up and checking my machine I see that my AHI is down to 4.9. It's an average and moving lower after every night. I've read that 4 to 5 AHI is normal for everyone including those who aren't diagnosed with sleep apnea and that range is the goal. As far as sleeping...

New Member, finally compliant.

Hello everyone, my name is Randall. This is a little long but wanted to share my story in hopes that it might help someone. I've been browsing about on this forum for a while now and just wanted to share about finally complying with CPAP therapy. Ten years ago I was diagnosed with OSA. I did the sle...
