Re: Need opinion on mask size
Thanks for clarifying Pugsy, yes it is a little confusing as there seemed to be 3 different masks it could have been. I don't know about the Amara View but it's one I may be interested in. Make sure if you're printing a fitting guide that it is to scale by measuring it, I had 4 attempts at getting...

Re: Have APAP, min/max levels set to same. Questions!
My crystal ball is broken...so I don't know if you will never ever need auto adjusting mode or not. Ha, I know, right? I guess I was hoping for someone to say, "listen stupid, its $80, and you'll never know if you need it in the future". I think that is what Pugsy said in her current gentle manner....

Thanks Pugsy.Pugsy wrote:cpap.com will supply you with a universal insurance form with appropriate codes but make sure that your insurance will accept it and pay/allow a charge from cpap.com. Some insurance will and some won't reimburse at all and some will but at a reduced rate.

Re: Online DME for Anthem?
Thanks all. Here is my plan. I have a written prescription in hand. I will scan it to pdf. I will upload the prescription to cpap.com and order the mask, submitting the insurance claim myself. I assume cpap.com will give me the necessary codes. I can then use the prescription for supplies from Rotec...

Re: ATTN: Chinese spammer dude
I am new here. Where is this Spam button? I see a bunch of spam threads this morning. You have to be a member for 3 months I believe before you get a 'remove spam' button Then if you remove a post that's not SPAM your button gets taken away. Look out for the high voltage back surge when you press t...

Re: Dry Mouth Continues
Question...How do you know they kept the insurance money? Also....There is no such mask as a Quattro View. I corrected myself on that later when Pugsy asked. Notice earlier I said Amara View. I have now discovered the Edit button and corrected the posting. I know they kept the money because I paid ...

Re: Need help picking a new machine!
I remember reading a thread where our moderator said children should not rant in help threads. See viewtopic.php?f=1&t=114176&p=1104690#p1104690 Yeah...they shouldn't but they do and we try to deflect the ugliness when we can but it can't happen unless all the guilty parties are willing to take the...

Re: New User 2nd post
... But I'm starting to crash a bit now. I was having a little trouble with the mask last night, and had to fuss with a bit, after I un did the one side to scratch my nose.......lol , but it was tending to leak around my nose. (why do we always get itchy when we cant scratch?) not the strap's that ...

Welcome!
I am finding out that, like other forums, there is a mix of helpful information and pugilistic brats. Try to absorb the first while ignoring the second.
Pugsy seems to be one of the most helpful around here.

Gasp, just fyi, wise people ignore blithering idiots like "Uncle Dumbshit"... heed his ignorant "advice" at your own peril... stick to knowledgeable people like Pugsy. I remember reading a thread where our moderator said children should not rant in help threads. See http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopi...
