With the Dreamwear, it's where the silicone tubes go over my cheeks, just below the cheekbone. The other is a Resmed Mirage FX for Her, and it's straps (also over my cheeks) leave marks.

Marks on face in morning

Is this just something I'm going to have to get used to? It has happened with both masks I've tried (I prefer the Dreamwear, but have another I cannot recall the name of that is a full over-the-nose style with headgear) and it's just annoying. I have a commute to work so during the week it's not lik...

it's blooming season for my worst allergen Sorry. I'm also having a little irritation from pollen today. http://i.imgur.com/L6D14nXm.jpg Very Good One! It's been raining here most of the day, blooming pollen still has me down... Jim Love this one! We have been in a huge rainy cycle, so you'd think ...

Re: Two Questions...

I'm prone to having sores in my nose (allergies!). Yes, you can use Lansinoh lanolin, but how about also seeing an ENT/Allergist? They have a lot of options these days for treating allergies. Sadly, this is better. I've done allergy treatment and, while they are much better now it's blooming season...

Two Questions...

I've been using my machine for a couple of weeks now, and am finding I feel much better. I'm astounded, really. But I have two questions... When I've woken up in the night (thank you dogs) I don't feel like there is anything coming from my mask. I open my mouth and there really is, i just don't feel...

Re: Newbie with LOTS of questions

They said that this unit is a nice one, and should work fine for me. I"m so excited that I don't have to spend a bunch of money on this. I am all set to start using it tonight! The doctor and tech were very helpful and gave me a lot of good information. They want me to use it for a couple of weeks a...

Re: Newbie with LOTS of questions

That woudl be great if this is a nice enough machine to keep. If my insurance does pay for a new one, I'll do it, but if not, this will get used again! I think the doctor's office will set everything up for me, based on the study last weekend. Are there any other questions that I should ask that I m...

Re: Newbie with LOTS of questions

I'm hoping that my doctor's office will do all of that for me! She had all of the manuals with it and the humidifier, so hopefully that helps. Here is what it is... https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-0l-hn9t36HcTlkRUotUVNYbmc/view?usp=sharing Is there a huge difference between this one and something...

Newbie with LOTS of questions

I had a sleep study done about a year ago, which showed borderline OSA. No idea what the numbers were, but opted not to do anything more at that time. A year later, I'm sick of being tired, so my PCP wanted me to go back to the sleep specialist, who had me do a titration study over the weekend. I wa...
