Re: Does ResMed allow US to export machines to Canada?

That is correct D.H. I do have a bit of coverage from my personal BC plan - $500 every 60 mos. I can buy supplies or machine - must be bought from a Canadian medical supplier (not Amazon), either online or brick and mortar.

Re: Does ResMed allow US to export machines to Canada?

You can order Resmed from dealers here (they can get the machines) just not on your own from dealers in the US, though if you got yours from a private seller (no script, etc.) then there should be no problem except being hung up at Customs for (sometimes) weeks, which has nothing to do with Resmed,...

Quote: "The ResMed restriction applies to places like cpap.com and the agreement that ResMed makes them sign to get the wholesale contract. They have to agree to not ship outside the US or ResMed won't let them stock their products. " Lucky me then, because it was from a "place like cpap.com" - a bi...

Does ResMed allow US to export machines to Canada?

I read on here (it's an old thread from 2011 though) that ResMed will not allow shipment of their products to Canada. Is that still true? Because I ordered a machine last week from an online supplier (Airsense 10 for her) and the order went through. What scares me, though, is that it has been sittin...

Re: New to CPAP - what does this mean on my Snoresat?

Thanks Palerider. Sounds pretty simple. I hope the CPAP/APAP works for me. And thanks also Nanwilson. So now at least I know what Snoresat means - had no idea. I knew about the senior/low income thing (don't qualify) and I'm very glad they provide them with that - nice. And yes, for me my $500 every...

Re: New to CPAP - what does this mean on my Snoresat?

Sorry Julie. I never thought to look at your profile or whatever to find that where you were from. Maybe the provinces are all different then. Or maybe I don't know the lingo - I just went by what was on my paper I got from my GP. The sleep place my doctor told me to call to set up a trial knew what...

Re: New to CPAP - what does this mean on my Snoresat?

Thanks Julie. I guess Snoresat for us is like your Level III testing. It's where you pick up some monitoring equipment to take home for the night and return it the next morning. I think they also call it Level III here too - it's just that Snoresat Interpretation is what the paper with my results wa...

New to CPAP - what does this mean on my Snoresat?

Hi everyone, I've been learning a lot about CPAP in the past few weeks. I had a Snoresat done in Nov. of 2015 and a couple of weeks ago I mentioned to my doctor that I was never called for my next level testing (she had told me in Nov. that the wait was very long - likely a year). I told her that I ...
