Re: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and CPAP, APAP machines
Guest... thank you for your information (really), but in CPAP terms, the broad-sense definition of "titration" is... trial and error, this last being mostly human-induced , as we do tell the machines what they must execute. Given all the variables and factors that patients bring into the equation, t...

Re: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and CPAP, APAP machines
...Some BS actually gets by. Probably less then what I've seen in the last responses here, but thanks for your valuable input - especially on palindromes, which is absolutely fascinating . Should we one day become forum-friends , I'll overcome my natural shyness and share my batrachian phobias...

Re: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and CPAP, APAP machines
That's really NOT the reaction I was hoping for... but never mind. Coming back to the subject at hand, here's an interesting outlook: https://www.ted.com/talks/maurice_conti_the_incredible_inventions_of_intuitive_ai I like Conti's philosophy on the matter, it's pretty much what our future will look ...

Re: CO2 Washout ???
Thank you for your answers, Palerider. I find the coincidence very odd... I'm deeeeep in severe OSA for a long period, but RLS disappears (there's no way you can sleep through this, unless you're in a coma). I get treated by CPAP, and it comes back. There has to be a connection, somehow.

Re: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and CPAP, APAP machines
Palerider , I've been a member of other forums, had +20k posts myself, was a moderator, so I know something of how "newbies" can be treated, and what goes on in the minds of the "ancient ones" ... It's just that I find odd that the same things should occur on THIS type of forum. The stakes are diff...

Re: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and CPAP, APAP machines
Palerider , some of your newer, un-experienced members are being treated very sarcastically by +16.000 posts members... Something you expect to see in a car mechanics forum, but not in one where potentially very vulnerable/exhausted people come to seek help. I think patience is more appropriate tha...

Re: CO2 Washout ???
Hello everyone, Sorry for using this old thread, but I believe the issue I have is related. I've been treating my OSA very successfully (from AHI of +120 to the current average of 1.5), using an Autoset (Resmed), and a vented F&P Eson nasal mask. Credit for all this is due to... someone on another f...

Re: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and CPAP, APAP machines
It is the weekend, when spooks drop in from the "other" forum, focusing on our self-censorship (or none) ---and completely ignoring the fact that this is the place that helps you ADJUST YOUR OWN MACHINE. Have a lovely (censored) life. "Spooks"? You must be slightly paranoid, so I shall not take off...

Re: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and CPAP, APAP machines
Coming from another forum by sheer curiosity... I'm so surprised by the difference in attitudes. On the OTHER forum, it took me 5 days of courtesy and reading to get real, KIND help, that actually resolved my issues, helped me sleep my 8 hours without interruptions, and to go from an AHI of 57.2 ......

Re: Appreciation for the ResScan 5.5 download
I think these companies make enough money to compensate for this type of "loss". Also, paying the full price for the system should entitle you to full functionality.
