Re: F20 airtouch memory foam leak rate issue
thanks everyone. i keep adjusting the straps. it seems fine with the mask fit function. it doesn't seem to leak at all, but seems to have a consistently high leak rate throughout the night. i need to start looking at my data on sleepyhead again every morning and trying to figure out when leaks are h...

F20 airtouch memory foam leak rate issue
i've been using the resmed airtouch f20 mask with the memory foam cushions for about 7 months now. it has been great as it is comfortable and never leaves red marks or irritates my skin. however, i just cannot seem to keep my leak rate under 24 L/min. wondering if anyone else has this issue with thi...

Re: Airtouch lifespan
been using the airtouch cushions for a few months. love em.
i usually get 8-12 weeks out of them before they start to lose seal.
i wipe them down with a cpap mask wipe every morning, try to handle them gently.

Re: First week of using AirFit F20 foam cushion - thumbs up!
I also have had great success with the airtouch F20. It is my mask from now on. I used the quattro and regualr old F20 before and they work with no leaks.....but the airtouch is so much more comfortable with the memory foam. I like the feel better than silicone. Also, I have a full beard and have g...

Re: First week of using AirFit F20 foam cushion - thumbs up!
Thanks for the additional information. I have been reading where people are having issues sealing at pressures over 15 but then I know a guy using ASV for centrals and he sees pressures well over 20 all the time and he just loves the mask and not having issues with leaks. So I suppose it is likely ...

Re: First week of using AirFit F20 foam cushion - thumbs up!
Curious...what pressure do you use or if using a range of pressure what do you spend most of the time at? With time can you also add your experience with the life of the cushion? As to what actually happens when the foam starts getting tired. My DME uses this mask...he says he can get about 3 month...

Re: resmed airsense 10 "wifi" ???
Ask 'em what process they used to input their wifi key onto their air10... and then "surely you're not using unsecured wifi, if so, what's your address?" haha. been there. done that. my teeth started hurting when they started telling me that it just magically connected automatically. "didn't even h...

Re: resmed airsense 10 "wifi" ???
Those folks don't understand the difference between "WiFi" and all the other types of wireless... like cellular modems. In other words, they're wrong and should be ignored. indeed, my efforts to attempt to clarify and define each in effort to help the original person, failed miserably. apparently m...

Re: resmed airsense 10 "wifi" ???
The machine does not use WI-FI and ResMed doesn't sell a machine that uses WI-FI. It uses a cellular modem and the cellular network to transmit date. She might just be in an area with poor cellular network coverage. that is certainly my understanding. i've seen literally no reference anywhere that ...

Re: resmed airsense 10 "wifi" ???
indeed. my assumption is that their cellular service is not very strong. i've just got a few people trying to convince me that they do indeed connect to their DME via the internet and their home wifi network. i've just seen no reference to any resmed airsense machine having a wifi connection. thanks...

My apologies to the moderator if I'm breaking the rules by linking to a commercial site. Actually cpap.com owners pay the bills for this forum so they won't mind at all if we link to their website for cpap stuff. . didn't know that. i can honestly say that cpap.com have been an absolute pleasure to...
