Re: Quite an adventure
Despite thinking I slept well last night, I woke up feeling not very rested, still better than without the mask on, but my throat hurts and my graphs are a little questionable. Also, I don't think I can turn on the auto part in my machine, there is no setting for it in the settings menu it just has ...

Re: Quite an adventure
I filled out my system info in the profile but for some reason it won't show up when I post.
Also we don't have my mask in the list it's a Fisher and Paykel mask and apparently those are too new or too small a brand to be in our list.

Re: Quite an adventure
Thank you, I will try 8 or 9 on auto and see what happens. I am excited at the prospect of sleeping through the night. Most nights I wake up (and don't remember it). The same was true before I started cpap therapy, I would wake up many times and not sleep through the night although if they were real...

Re: Quite an adventure
I guess I can start with 9 or 10 with a max of like 14 or 15. I don't wanna do too little, I wanna make sure it ramps up to catch it. Does that sound reasonable?

Re: Quite an adventure
Thank you for the information, and I agree with trying the auto mode. How does it work? I know I can toggle it on in the settings, but will it automatically detect the amount of pressure I need during an apnea episode and just adjust? I'm sleeping okay and waking up feeling better than I did before ...

Re: Quite an adventure
No, most likely side or stomach. I prefer to fall asleep on my sides and will alternate between them and face down style throughout the night. I was probably on my right side at first.

Re: Quite an adventure
Thank you guys so much, I know it's not quite right yet, I can just tell. Also, this morning I woke up with a sore throat (like I used to before I started using CPAP). I get the feeling that what's upsetting my sleep may not be picked up by Apnea/Hypopnea because it may not be lasting 10 seconds or ...

Quite an adventure
So two nights ago in the middle of the night I was not sleeping well, and woke up not breathing/snoring heavily. I found my face to be itchy and drooly so I wiped it off and could not get comfortable with the mask again. I took it off and "slept" the rest of the night without it. Man did I feel like...

Re: Just couldn't take it last night!!
Why let insurance control your health? .... or anyone else for that matter? You and only you have your own best interest when it comes to YOUR health. The insurance companies, like ALL corporate entities just want you to think you are hopeless/helpless without them. The mask interface is the most d...

Re: What am I looking at?
FWIW no one but your doctor is legally allowed to give results... I mean I guess that kind of helps? I was basically under the impression that once the sleep lab processed the study, my Doctor would CALL ME and go over them over the phone to expedite the process and get a titration test scheduled. ...

Re: What am I looking at?
Super frustrated . So I had my home sleep study done last Wednesday, 2/22. I turned in the machine and the information the very next morning 2/23. I asked how long it would take before the results were given to me and they said normally it takes 2 weeks, but that since they were slow, they would hav...

Re: What am I looking at?
Awesome, thank you so much. I've kinda figured that I needed more pressure during rem because I haven't dreamed in a while. I have done plenty of research and thought an Apap machine would be a good option just based on how they work, and was going to ask for one, but after this, I will definitely d...
