Re: Couple Questions on my new AirCurve 10 ASV
Its been a bit of a curve (no pun intended). I miss the Flex setting but after a few nights i can breathe normally with it. My only issue so far is like what I expected when i first started was waking up full of air and passing gas and burping for a good hour. Im sure it will pass as well as i adjus...

Re: Issues with Philips recall/remediation
I feel your pain. I have been battling them for 6 months. Finally insurance paid out a new machine and since there is No Dreamstation 2 ASV yet insurance paid of an AirCurve 10 ASV. My old DME was supposed to replace it but they got bought out by a bigger company and after multiple screw ups of resu...

Re: Couple Questions on my new Airsense 10 ASV
Interesting development. Apparently my Complex Central Apnea agrees with the Resmed more than the Respironics. In 4 nights my highest AHI has been a .7. I was always 1.2-4 on the Dreamstation. And ive been battling the end stages of RSV between the transition.

Re: Couple Questions on my new Airsense 10 ASV
Thanks. Machine definitely kicked my rear. But i only had a .7 AHI last night, which i rarely saw on my DS. Usually saw 1.5-3. Will take some adjusting to the different pressures. But i did turn ramp down to only 5 mins for now and will shut it off once it learns my EPAP baseline. Also turned climat...

Couple Questions on my new AirCurve 10 ASV
Hello group, been a while. Finally hit the 5 year mark on my Dreamstation ASV with 15,300 hours on it and since they have yet to replace it under warranty Medicare kicked me a new machine a Resmed ASV as my DME is not a huge DS fan at all. Anyway coming from one brand to another has been interesting...

Re: Encore Pro 2 Data question
Thanks Pugsy, I also found an older thread showing it after posting. You do have to redownload your device to get it to correct it as well. At least now my data is making since. Again many thanks.

Encore Pro 2 Data question
Long time away quick question. Been having a few rough nights so my Sleep Doc suggested I view my own data on Encore Pro 2. Gave me my own login info again. (She's out of office for a few weeks for her to remote pull the data) Anyway stuck the SD card in after setting myself up in the program. But o...

EPAP 90% maxing out.
I have my one year follow up with the sleep doctor on Monday. And a tentative Sleep Assessment retest on the following Friday. My centrals have been really weird lately and the doc is concerned. Originally my pressures were as below 6/12 on ASV, max pressure was a 24 now open, epap min was 6/10 now ...

Re: Seems that centrals have started,...
Mark, I also suffer from major Centrals due to long term chronic pain medicine and opiate use to control the pain I live in. Did they do an ASV study on you or see centrals during the study? I did my first and second night on a standard machine and it took my ahi from 50-70 down to below 10. That cl...

Re: Traveling with an ASV Machine
Great info Passport. My trip ended up getting cut short by 2 weeks sadly due to me getting really sick. Got home and back into my own bed and grandad the first night home was my adjustment night bit after a few weeks on the go and my AHI over 2 getting home and my AHI back down to a 1 seems to make ...

Re: Nasal mask for narrow bridge
I've got a really narrow bridge, as well as a deep inset under my brow. Only mask so far is the Quattro FX FFM. I have to use a Full Face for my issues and tried the Simplus (leaked so bad I got windburn on my eyelids) F20 was nice but after a month was uncomfortable. I did however get a Large Headg...

Re: Traveling with an ASV Machine
[quote="Pugsy"]Hey there stranger..good to see you again. I know it seems like the machine is huge but it really isn't. The DreamStation machines are just about the size of a small novel. You should see the size of some of the older models...now those things are huge. Like to see this small novel......

Re: no mask no xpap slept better feeling better
Do you have a Humidifier and heated hose attached? I've actually had more relief from sinus issues at night with my full face mask on, I cannot just wear a nasal mask. It takes some time, and a few times waking up to adjust straps to get the seal right, but if I am a bit stuffy, ill hit preheat mode...

Re: Traveling with an ASV Machine
In a little over 2 weeks on the road now with the machine, I have discovered some rather interesting things. My usual AHI lately was a 1.0 at home, in my own bed a Queen Sleep Number C3 Set fairly firm 90, with one of their firm sculpted pillows. I've been sleeping in a soft, twin size for the most ...

Re: Traveling with an ASV Machine
I am currently using the lamp next to the bed as my hanger. Made a loop of yarn to hold the hose above my head and hooked it to switch. And when I'm needing to hang the mask up I hang it off the finial on top of the shade. Lol. Did it at the Resort as well. The board info has an attachment to put a ...
