Re: How to properly set VAuto clinician settings?
The reason I am so interested is because my experience with my previous doctor was very unhelpful for a lot of the questions I had, and therapy was hard to adjust to as a result. I relied on that doctor for adjustments and everything, and essentially usually left my visits with her with more questio...

Re: How to properly set VAuto clinician settings?
Hello Pugsy, Thank you for that information, I do have one, I'm not sure why I didn't look in there to begin with. This might be a stupid question since the book probably covers it then, but how will I know if my pressures ever need to be adjusted in the future? I downloaded SleepyHead program, and ...

GrayGhost4 - Great member to purchase equipment from!
This is a ringing endorsement on my behalf to GrayGhost4, who came highly recommended to me by a number of members on this forum as a trusted private vendor of equipment. I was in a real pickle and short on money after finding out my Kaiser insurance plan didn't cover DME (CPAP, BiPAP), and after PM...

How to properly set VAuto clinician settings?
Hello, I am inputting the IPAP/EPAP/PS, etc settings on my new VAuto (sourced by GrayGhost4, thank you again sir!), and I am not sure what my settings should be set to. The original prescription from last year's sleep study called for EPAP of 10 and IPAP of 15, and nothing else on the prescription. ...

Is an ASV machine optimal for all types of sleep apnea?
I have an opportunity to purchase a like new ASV machine for relatively cheap, nearly the same as a BiPAP Vauto machine, and the reason I bring it up is because I noticed that the ASV machine can be programmed to use in ASV, CPAP, or BiPAP auto modes. My prescription calls for a BiPAP, however just ...

Re: Questions about my condition/equipment to buy PLEASE HELP!!
Hello Klm! No, I had trouble grasping the concept when the respiratory therapist was telling me over the phone. I learned elsewhere reading on these forums from user Janknitz that Kaiser single or group healthcare plans through ACA do not cover DME, and I am not the only one. However, the RT did men...

Re: Questions about my condition/equipment to buy PLEASE HELP!!
Thank you for your response Jay. I do have access to my sleep study information. Would posting it up on here provide me with any more information I could use? Also, I opted to try the BiPAP because I was originally diagnosed as a teenager with having Severe OSA, and was prescribed a CPAP that I coul...

Re: Questions about my condition/equipment to buy PLEASE HELP!!
Thanks Sheriff! Where should I look to educate myself on what I should be paying for a BiPAP ST? I believe that is the machine I previously had. Also, is ASV a better option if my condition ever worsens, or just better overall? I'm just trying to avoid paying too much, but also not skimping on a goo...

Vendor legit or not, also where can I find good prices on eq
Is anyone familiar with the website/DME vendor Cpapliquidators.com, and if so do you know is this business is safe to buy from, or should I avoid it? I'm hard up for cash and need to buy my own BiPAP, insurance doesn't cover DME, and the website has really good prices.. But I'm worried if it is too ...

Questions about my condition/equipment to buy PLEASE HELP!!
Hello everyone, I am new here so please forgive me if I unintentionally do something wrong. I am a Severe OSA sufferer that is currently without a machine for therapy. I have Severe OSA, according to a sleep study from last year, and from what I remember the DR said I was her worst case. I was presc...
