Re: Using someone else's CPAP machine?

Yes you can use the machine and it won't be locked to prevent you from doing anything with it. They can't/won't do that sort of thing. We should be able to mimic whatever settings you have been using on the S9 depending on exactly which model the AirSense 11 happens to be. So....what are your curre...

Re: Using someone else's CPAP machine?

My DME company told me that a few months ago! I can purchase out of pocket and reimburse myself with my HSA. The mask that came with my sister's was the Air Touch F20. I may give it a try. Thank you so much for all of your help. I'm grateful..

Re: Using someone else's CPAP machine?

Hi. Thank you so much for your reply. I uploaded the settings and attached a link below. Regarding the Air Sense model, I found reference number 39517 which says it's a 'ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet CPAP'. May I ask one other question. I love the Quattro Mirage Full Face Mask. I was told that it's no ...

Using someone else's CPAP machine?

Hello, I currently have the Resmed S9 that's just not functioning properly anymore. I currently have access to a ResMed Air Sense 11 that's only been used 5 times. Backstory: I took care of my baby sister. She was really sick and only 35; unable to walk, kidney failure, diabetes, MS, diabetic neurop...

Re: Dry Skin with ResMed S9

Hi Guys, I made sure to put some extra moisturizer on in addition to turning the humidifier back on to 3. It helped decrease the dryness; the area around the mouth and eyelids has some dryness but it's much better than it was before. I think I nuked my skin with dry air lol. I will look into some of...

Re: Dry Skin with ResMed S9

It actually sounds to me like you might have had an allergic reaction, so I wouldn't necessarily assume it was 'dryness' for any reason, but be careful about using it... and if you have another reaction maybe try taking a Claritin or other antihistamine before bed and see if it helps (though otherw...

Re: Dry Skin with ResMed S9

assuming turning the humidity down to 0 was a bad idea I have not used the humidifier in years, and I don't get this problem. I don't know what your problem is, but the mask could be leaking and drying your eyes - this is a common problem. To see the mask leak statistic, you need to get into the re...

Dry Skin with ResMed S9

Hi guys, I just recently got a new cpap after not using one for several years. I turned the humidity down to zero and woke up with dry, peeling skin, especially around the eyes and mouth area. I tend to have dry skin anyway so assuming turning the humidity down to 0 was a bad idea. Has anyone else e...
