Re: Autosense 10 Issue? Maybe it's the settings?

I'm not losing any sleep over you not apologizing. The history of your participation in the threads demonstrates that you are predominantly interested in asserting your superiority to others as opposed to actually being helpful. I guess I'm done with this site. sorry to see you go, if you are going...

Re: Autosense 10 Issue? Maybe it's the settings?

ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP... ResMed AirSense™ 10 AutoSet™ CPAP Machine with HumidAir™ Heated Humidifier I was going to apologize that it apparently confused you so, but since you're the first person ever to have trouble with the fact that there isn't a ™ on the first line (from the chart) and...

Re: Autosense 10 Issue? Maybe it's the settings?

If you are so utterly pedantic that you can't see that: ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP has a better match with ResMed AirSense™ 10 AutoSet™ CPAP Machine with HumidAir™ Heated Humidifier than it does to: AirSense™ 10 CPAP Machine with HumidAir™ Heated Humidifier \\ AirSense™ 10 AutoSet™ For Her CPA...

Re: Autosense 10 Issue? Maybe it's the settings?

Can someone help me understand why we're discussing Smart Start here? I have a specific issue with noise from the machine that is seemingly random. While I am interested in knowing if there are settings to change that could help with this, I am not seeing anything about Smart Start's ability to ass...

Re: Autosense 10 Issue? Maybe it's the settings?

You will find your machine listed under R..for Resmed. (Can't tell you why)... Also, your machine has a setting called smart start . It will automatically turn on your machine when you put on your mask and start breathing...and it will automatically turn the machine off when you remove the mask (Ta...

Re: Autosense 10 Issue? Maybe it's the settings?

Please check that you have the humidifier properly installed and it's gasket in place. The only time I've experienced loud noise from the machine is when the humidifier isn't snapped into place correctly. Yep. Been down that path. No issues with the seal. The machine works great for long periods. T...

Re: Autosense 10 Issue? Maybe it's the settings?

What I can't STAND, is that there are times when I get a similar (not as pronounced) increase in noise level from the machine itself when I'm breathing IN. It's like I'm sucking air from the machine instead of the machine providing it under pressure. I tossed the mask and turned off the machine on ...

Re: Autosense 10 Issue? Maybe it's the settings?

On an unrelated note - I don't use the humidifier but it is installed (I believe there's a "plate" that I could install in its place but I don't have it. Thoughts on this in general? What would be a good temp / climate setting to use in this circumstance as I do sometimes either get moisture on my ...

Re: Autosense 10 Issue? Maybe it's the settings?

Did you look at the table? It's got the REF number from the back of the machine, AND the entry to pick from the equipment table. The REF on my machine is 37028. That translates to "ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP". That isn't an option to choose from in the equipment section. The closest matches ar...

Re: Autosense 10 Issue? Maybe it's the settings?

The equipment I have doesn't seem to appear in the listing the same way that it appears as an option in my profile. I believe I have it set right. It's an AD10 APAP. I have never used the humidifier on this machine as I stopped using it on the old machine months before getting the new machine. The o...

Autosense 10 Issue? Maybe it's the settings?

I have a somewhat new AS10 (got it about two months back) that I have been using in place of my F&P Icon that I used for about 7 years. There are definitely some things about the AS10 that I like better, but there seems to be an issue I can't "solve." I have tweaked my configured therapy to use a pr...

Re: Empirical Data for machines?

One of the things that I absolutely HATE about dealing with any sort of health insurance item is that no one will tell you ANYTHING when it comes to cost. The Insurance Company (carrier) says "we need the billing code." The provider often won't tell you the billing code. And, if they do, the carrier...

Re: Empirical Data for machines?

Thanks for the info, JimW159. I'll have to try and get the "As billed" information for costs, but I have to be honest - I'm quite lacking of hope in that area. Apria is AWFUL to deal with. When I had operational issues with my F&P machine, they gave me the runaround for almost a month trying to tell...
