Re: data from cms50F+ pulseox device
The website cited by wm_hess https://innovo-medical.com/products/innovo-cms-50f-plus has the SpO2 Assistant Software. This is the software that downloads recordings to the PC. It should recognize the connected device even though Windows Device Manager cannot identify it. Sleepyhead will also directl...

Great job! Sounds like you're doing all of the right things.
That's interesting that you can only go up to 12. Wonder if the doctor will adjust the range based on your 90%-near-12 results...

Re: Heated Hose
I just got a new Airsense 10 Elite....Can I use the heated hose that came with the machine as a regular hose with no heat[...] Sure, but here's why I don't: 1) it's heavier than the SlimLine hose that came with my machine, and 2) <pessimism>it has a wire in it that could potentially break from meta...

Re: Nasal Pillows for Mouth Breathers
I started with a FFM because I have trouble breathing through my nose during the day. But I found that after a few months I was using the FFM with my mouth closed once the pressure got high enough to open my nasal passages. So decided to give it a try. Now I use nasal pillows with a higher starting ...

I've had mine alert when the power connection in the back of the machine or to the power block from the wall is loose.

Agreeing with tedtomato, I'll add that although it is kind of gimmicky, it has An App! And the app will give you a "score" and advice such as "Try drinking some warm milk at bedtime" and "Your room was too warm last night." It can play soothing sounds on the tablet or phone. So if you're looking for...

Re: Transcend Auto mini experiences
I had one for a little while (a week) until the motor quit. I opted instead for the IntelliPAP Auto https://www.cpap.com/productpage/devilbiss-intellipap-auto-cpap-machine.html which can be run on 12V DC or a simple AC power cord (no transformer needed). The expandable travel bag has room for masks,...

Re: Adapter - Connect Respironics cable w/DB9 plug to PC
The USB-to-Serial adapters that xyzzy refers to allow the operating system to see the device as a new COM: port. This is achieved by the driver that is included with the USB-to_Serial adapter. Amazon has one based on the PL-2303 chipset by UGREEN for $8.99. If you have the PROFOX software then presu...

Re: Sleeping with CPAP and a Cat
There was an article a while back that domestic cats have the same personality traits as big cats and would probably kill you given a chance: http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2015/10/31/cat-lion-psychological-traits/74941388/ It seems your clever cat has a method in mind ClayL's idea wi...

Re: Two machines using Flashpap
You can set up a second profile/user name in FlashPAP. This will create another (username).fpap settings file with the machine type, hostname/IP address, and destination directory. Then when you launch FlashPAP you can use the pulldown menu to choose the correct profile. You can also specify the pro...

Re: OT-Sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite.......
I also wondered if once you are on the list how do you get it removed or is it a life sentence? According to the site FAQ, you can "dispute," but they won't remove unless the original poster agrees. I wonder how often that happens? That's a worse policy than the credit bureaus use... This "registry...

Re: ResMed S+
It requires a smart phone or tablet that can run the app. Not MS Windows. It's a neat toy, but not a serious diagnostic tool. Don't pay more than $50 (new). There are a ton of people trying to sell theirs on auction sites.

The most important part is in the biggest typeface: your AHI is 4.94 which is "treated" (i.e., it's working)
