Julie, Yes, i had bad luck with one branch. That is what I said when I wrote "it might depend on the branch/individual"... No it doesn't mean all branches are bad. But it could be indicative of a certain culture within the organization.

Re: Pressure drops
Thanks Julie, I was not aware they were not allowed to adjust pressure like that. In any case, the point is moot, I fixed it myself over the weekend.

No CPAP => Nightmares
So, a few nights ago I ended up sleeping the whole night without the machine. I had the first nightmares I remember pretty much since starting to use the CPAP back in August. Last night, I woke up at 5am with my nose completely congested. Removed the CPAP and finished the night without. Again, loads...

Re: VitalAire
FWIW, I'm not having a particularly good experience with Vitalaire. It might depend on branch/individual, but I got very little information and assistance from them beyond getting the machine. And most recently, when I asked them to help with adjusting a setting, they refused, claiming I needed to g...

Re: Pressure drops
Brief update: I switched to CPAP mode, with a pressure of 8.5. Probably too early to tell properly, but so far things *feel* fine. In other news, I just heard back from my DME vendor (Vitalaire, see http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t114075/VitalAire.html ) that they weren't going to adjust anything...

Re: Pressure drops
Thanks Pugsy,
Yes, I guess my poorly phrased question was "is it ok to increase the pressure slightly so I'm more comfortable"
Taking the machine out of C-Check seems like a good recommendation. I've requested the clinician manual, as suggested by Jay.
Thanks again

Thanks Jay,
I'm working on it, but imgur appears to be stuck at processing. Will post soon as something "uncorks"

Pressure drops
Hello all, It turns out that my machine is set to C-Check from 7 to 13cmH20 (10 +/- 3). Started at 10 in August, then approximately a month later went down to 9, and down to 8 another month later. Couple days ago it dropped to 7. These pressures have been stable all night. There is a ramp setup - or...

Re: Dreamstation bluetooth disconnect?
Thanks Tim,
It happens both when the machine is on or when it's asleep.
I'll try and remember going through the app reconnect. It does indeed seem a lot less hassle than forgetting device!
Cheers

Dreamstation bluetooth disconnect?
Hello everyone, For the last two weeks, the bluetooth connection to my phone keeps disconnecting from my Dreamstation. I end up having to forget the device, and reset pairing. It's annoying as heck, although not really mission critical. I just like to have a quick glimpse at what's happening without...

Thanks LibraryLady, I appreciate the suggestion. Full face masks haven't worked for me. I tried a 4 of them. Problem was leaks non stop. My beard seems to be causing a problem

A big THANK YOU and a bit of an introduction
First and foremost, I want to thank everyone here. I’ve been lurking for a couple months, reading a lot of back posts, searching for answers, and finding them. Without this board, I wouldn’t be where I’m at with CPAP right now. I’m sure I’ll have questions I can’t find answers for, but not right now...
