Re: Last Days TV show- "rare" apnea - 3 yrs to live ???
Sounds like BS. "stops breathing up to 100 times a night..." I stopped breathing 101 times an hour during my sleep study. With CPAP I'm down to less than 1 episode per hour. I was never told I was going to "die"; just that it is going to take a toll on my health and I needed a CPAP as soon as possib...

Re: Anybody Get Teeth Problems from CPAP?
I developed hot/cold sensitivity to my front teeth after using the CPAP. I wear a full face mask and noticed it upon drinking coffee one morning right after I started using the full face mask. Re: Humidifier Question
Thank you for the replies.
I don't use the air conditioner when I sleep, only a ceiling fan with windows open. I live in New Hampshire and at this time of year it's very humid.

My machine from years ago didn't even move down a line in the night, and sometimes I would have it turned all the way up. The humidifier on mine is set at Auto (a setting of 4) out of 8. It uses more than half of...

Hi, New Here!
Hello, I am new to the boards! I have recently been diagnosed with OSA (again). I was diagnosed back in 2008/2009 and used a CPAP for a short amount of time. I found the masks I was using to be uncomfortable and I wasn't able to adjust. I think out of the 3-6 months I used it, I only slept twice thr...
