Re: How To Choose Between Two Bad Presidential Candidates
One candidate thinks that over 500,000 dead babies/year is just peachy. No other civil rights issue comes close when these helpless humans have no voice. Makes my decision REAL easy. Hah. Trumpy has been pro-choice his whole life, only just recently has it become politically expedient for him to cl...

Re: Trying out a nasal pillow - what am I doing wrong?
Pugsy and kittymom - I'll bet the answer is in the EPR, and I'm going to check it as soon as I am able. I downloaded the clinician's manual for my machine in case I need to get into clinician's settings. I hope someday to be as helpful to a newbie as ya'll are to me!

Re: Trying out a nasal pillow - what am I doing wrong?
Hi Pugsy
Are you using the ramp feature? No, turned that off the day I got the machine
What size nasal pillow are you using? They said I was between small and extra small. I have both sizes and have tried them both.

Trying out a nasal pillow - what am I doing wrong?
I have been on CPAP now for about a month. I breathe well with my full face mask, but am attracted to the minimalist characteristics of a nasal pillow. I went back to my DME and they fitted me with an Airfit P10 to try out. I have gone to bed with it a few times, but soon after (less than 10 minutes...

Re: Mouth guard/oral device while camping ??
I have a Silent Nite snore device and I wore it for several years before I finally took a sleep test. It helped with the snoring, but it did not treat the OSA at all. They had me take the sleep test WITH the device and my AHI was 26 or so. I now use a CPAP and have happily put the Silent Nite away i...

Re: How many mask changes did you go through at first?
I have a nasal pillow mask, which I chose feeling it would be less burdensome but I have some issues. Sometimes I feel like air is not going through the little holes and that they might be obstructed by the walls of my nose...am I imagining it? When I go to bed and my machine is on ramp I feel I'm ...

Re: Proving "Resmed Airsense 10 CPAP" (base model) is a brick
Closing the loop on my situation. Talked to the the DME main office (DASCO) and reiterated what I wanted ( Autoset ) and the lady said she'd have to get permission from her manager (I feel like I'm buying a car). After I hung up, I contacted another DME in the area who takes Tricare and they assured...

Re: Proving "Resmed Airsense 10 CPAP" (base model) is a brick
A two-pack of what? According to the ResMed website: "37207 AirSense 10 AutoSet with HumidAir"37207 is an ordering code for a two pack.
I'm hoping my brain won't be so sluggish when I get a decent night's sleep.....

Re: Proving "Resmed Airsense 10 CPAP" (base model) is a brick
Your invoice says 37207 Autoset....Look at the number on the bottom of your machine.....Does it have that number? Does it say AUTOSET on the bottom right of the machine Well, the number on the sticker (back of the machine) says "37015". The front of the machine says "AirSense 10 CPAP". Just to make...

Re: Proving "Resmed Airsense 10 CPAP" (base model) is a brick
When I type the model number on my delivery ticket (37207) into the search box on cpap.com, it shows the AirSense 10 AutoSet. The CPAP base model is 37203.
Do the graphs that the Autoset offers appear on the screen of the device?

Re: Proving "Resmed Airsense 10 CPAP" (base model) is a brick
Yes, just picked it up. I'm looking at the delivery ticket and it says Item 37207/ CPAP, Airsense 10 Auto Unit (Auto). Does that "Auto" mean I should have received the Autoset? Well, to answer my own question, YES , 37207 is the Autoset model. They did the ol' switcheroo and gave me the lesser mode...

Re: Proving "Resmed Airsense 10 CPAP" (base model) is a brick
Well, I think I blew it. I was so excited to get my machine today, and that they were giving me a Resmed Airsense 10, that I wasn't paying attention and it is not the Autoset version, rather, it is just base CPAP model. Is there anyone out there who has this model and is happy with it?

Re: Study Comparing CPAP and Oral Appliances
A couple of years ago I asked my dentist about a snore guard-type appliance, because my husband was complaining about my snoring. The dentist asked if I'd ever had a sleep study. I didn't want to pursue that, couldn't imagine sleeping in a "lab" with people watching me. So, I was fitted for a Silent...
