Re: DME won't give me my supplies they owe me
How sweet of you to give them a chance, but I am unsure if they deserve such consideration. I think you are right, regardless if they are polite it is their responsibility to keep me supplied. I am literally down to 1 mask which I am using and is going to become loose and unstable in 2 weeks. My ot...

Re: DME won't give me my supplies they owe me
I'll wait a little longer, but if it comes soon to my 'resupply' date I might as well report it and ask my PCM to refer me to a different DME. I mean, they offered to reimburse me but I don't want a reimbursement, I want my supplies. They offered to give me a different mask, which is outrageous x.x ...

Re: DME won't give me my supplies they owe me
pretty much what frog said lol mines start to smell and become slippery and leaky. Even though I wash them frequently, it just becomes unbearable :/ even the silicone begins to fade in color. edit: btw i spoke to them and they were very polite and told me they will get with the marketer to see when ...

DME won't give me my supplies they owe me
I have moved to a new DME due to a PCS. I use tricare, I went to a new DME and they gave me wrong sized cushions, so when I went to replace them they didn't have my size... only a full mask my size, and they said they would call me to replace the other 2 cushions. Telling me they will call me before...

Re: Dry Skin with ResMed S9
Might have to throughly clean your mask right before bed, since residue of the acne lotion could linger. Also set up the humidity up, I have mine on 3. Humidity helps your skin greatly. The less dryness on your skin the less likely you are to continue spreading acne.

Re: Mask size confusion?
But the one i have has been okay for the last year. I'm just confused as to why the tech believes I'm a S and I size for a S when a XS seems like the best fit? Maybe those sizing charts aren't as accurate? I don't really want to go down the road trying on masks over and over. Also I'd like to add th...

Re: Mask size confusion?
Thats the thing, he used a fitting template and it says I'm small. But as soon as I put on the small I have to tighten it super hard so no air leaks out, specifically on the bridge of my nose. It's like my nose is too small in that area and the mask is too long. I don't have this problem with the XS...

Mask size confusion?
I recently changed DME's and the new one gave me a size S small mask/strap/everything. I have been using for the last year XS, when I mentioned this to the tech he took out the sizing chart and said I size a S. So I took it home to try it... Now I'm confused which mask fits me best. I'm using a Resm...

Re: hi is a reconditioned machine good
Ack, i suspect i got one of those reconditioned ones initially. It smelled HORRIBLE to begin with, the pressure felt 'soft' and i still had episodes on my set pressure. It got disgusting pretty quickly and it wasnt recording data properly. I exchnage dit and was given a brand new one. No problems wh...

Is this serious... or a troll? Either way, CPAP has certainly changed my life. And my sleep studies were done by professionals.

Re: Sleep study results, not sure if I need to pursue treatment
Sleep is the one of the most important necessities for our bodies to function. Watch your health deteriorate if you don't get enough of it. Get treated and you will see how many other problems will just resolve themselves.

Re: Sleep study results, not sure if I need to pursue treatment
... no REM sleep ... I feel like with such little sleep this may not be 100% accurate results, I thought they needed at least two hours? One suspects that you did not get into a deep enough stage of sleep to record some much higher AHI, thus there might be a possibility of a more severe OSA than re...
